After scoring 54 goals last season in all comps, my 92-rated Cavani has decided that he would like a change of scenery. How could you do this to me Edinson?

Stay strong.

Chuck him on the transfer list and then ignore all offers or ask for ridiculous amounts.

And then have the club sell him for half he's worth.

They only do that if you ignore the players pleas.

That's why you chuck him on the transfer list before the board tells you to.

After the transfer period of my second season, this is how I've transformed Liverpool.

GK: Maarten Stekelenburg: 86 OVR. 197 cm, all goalkeeping stats are over 84, his diving is 89, and he's won me more games than I deserved to win with some ridiculous saves. Love him.

RB: Glen Johnson, 81 OVR
CB: Daniel Agger, 84 OVR
CB: Dede, 82 OVR. I think we all know enough about Dede that I don't need to go into it.
LB: Jose Enrique, 82 OVR

CDM: Cheick Tiote, 84 OVR. Ditto with Dede.
CDM: Arturo Vidal, 85 OVR. Tiote is a deeper CDM, but Vidal sits further up the field and basically plays like a CM. High/high workrate, green acceleration and sprint speed, dark green aggression, green interceptions and vision, green ball control and dribbling, green short and long pass, green long shots and shot power, green stand tackle and dark green slide tackle. His finishing could be better, but apart from that he's pretty much the complete package. Easily my most important player.

RM: Adam Johnson (only just signed), 80 OVR. Haven't used him in career much yet, but he was the best right mid in the BPL on Ultimate Team IMO. Elite acceleration, sprint speed, ball control, crossing and dribbling, and one of the few players in the game who I can consistently score finesse shots with when he cuts in onto his left foot.
LM: Ezequiel Lavezzi (only just signed), 86 OVR. His physical stats and ball control/dribbling are all ridiculously high, and his long shots/shot power are good enough for me to take advantage of that, especially since he's right footed.

CAM: Luis Muriel, 83 OVR at only 22 years old. The young Messi. I've probably scored more impressive individual goals after long dribbles with Muriel as I have with the rest of my team combined. He's listed as a striker, but I prefer him playing more freely as a CAM, especially since I play a lone striker.

ST: Christian Benteke, 77 OVR at 22 years old. His overall is only 77, but he scored 20 goals in all competitions last year so I've prioritized upgrading other areas first. Has the size and strength to play as a lone striker, combined with acceleration, sprint speed and ball control which is rarely found in such big players. Finishing, shot power and heading ability make him dangerous.

Bench
GK: Jack Butland. 69 OVR at 20 years old. 6 foot 4, 70+ diving and reflexes which is what I usually find to be the most important stats in a goalkeeper.
CB: Cheikyou Kouyate, 79 OVR at 23 years old. This guy is a beast. Green acceleration and sprint speed, dark green strength, green jumping (he does not get beaten in the air). Slide tackle is only high yellow, but his stand tackle is 82 and he's so quick and strong that I rarely need to slide anyway. Heading accuracy of 84 makes him a massive threat at corners. I often play him in front of Dede, he's that good.
CDM: Osvaldo Alonso, 77 OVR. Green sprint speed and acceleration, green aggression and interceptions, green stand tackle, high yellow slide tackle, and green shot power when he gets an opportunity. Won't ever be a first team player but he has high stats in all the right areas to be a good bench option to replace Tiote.
CM: Gokhan Inler (just signed to replace Sahin), 81 OVR. Takes Vidal's role when he needs a rest. His physical stats are only average, but he has a green rating in just about everything that I consider important for a central midfielder. Short and long passing, stand and slide tackle, long shots and shot power are all 80+.
RM: Medhi Carcelo-Gonzales, 79 OVR at 24 years old. To be honest I had no idea who this guy was until I started searching for a back-up RM, but he has all the tools for it. Green acceleration and sprint speed, green ball control and dribbling, 79 crossing, 80 long shots, left-footed so he can cut inside. Can't ask for much more from a back up right midfielder.
CF: Dani Pacheco, 77 OVR at 22 years old. He's listed as a CF, but I prefer him as a left midfielder. Green acceleration and sprint speed, dark green balance, ball control and dribbling both in the high greens, green finishing and 79 long shots. Overtook Assaidi and scored 10 goals as a LM last season, but now that I've signed Lavezzi I can bring him on against tired defences as either a LM or a CAM.
ST: Alexander Esswein, 78 OVR at 23 years old. Rotates with Benteke. Not the best overall stats, but dark green acceleration/sprint speed and 88 long shots make him a weapon. His passing stats aren't great, but for some reason he seems to keep putting through excellent through balls to the likes of Muriel and Dani Pacheco despite that. Has a knack for getting into good positions and picking out good passing options. He's a lone striker who's main value is in assists, but who still scored 13 goals last season.

Reserve signings
GK: Papa Demba Camara, 58 OVR at 20 years old. Overall isn't much good, but he's 6 foot 5 and his diving is already 74, so hopefully he'll grow into something decent.
LB: David Murphy, 72 OVR. Not really notable, just pointing out that I'm not relying on a young Jack Robinson if Enrique gets injured (which happened three times last season).
CB: Tomas Karas, 74 OVR at 20 years old. Acceleration, sprint speed, jumping and strength are all already in the green, and marking and stand tackle are already high 70's. Slide tackling is only 69 unfortunately.
RB: Joe Riley, 73 OVR at 21 years old. Good allrounder right back. Green acceleration and sprint speed, slide tackle and stand tackle both in the high 70's, marking and crossing in the low 70's and ball control and dribbling in the high 60's. Not really great at anything, but he's good at everything. Should develop into a Glen Johnson replacement.
CDM: Mubarak Wakaso, 74 OVR at 23 years old. His physical attributes are ridiculous. All are green except jumping, and balance, jumping and stamina are all 90+. 94 aggression. His skill attributes aren't as impressive but he still has slide and stand tackle in the high 70's and a shot power of 84.
CAM: Jorginho, 73 OVR at 21 years old. 89 acceleration, 93 sprint speed, 79 ball control, 84 dribbling. Passing and shooting need work.

Plus Robinson, Suso, Sterling, Wisdom, Yesil, Morgan and Coady are still on board, although I'm not particularly impressed by the latter three.

Is there anything more annoying than reading an opponent and get a perfect interception only for it to rebound back to them and they have a paddock to run into...

Does everyone get that annoying LB player that is so far out of position when the opposition have a goal kick. Is that a glitch or bad Work Rate stat?

I also hate how if the opposition have thrown-in in their defensive half my Striker or Winger starts in a stupid position nearer the corner flag covering no one, instead of covering a throw to their last man.

FIFA logic:

> Complain about weather at Liverpool
> Request transfer
> Move to Blackburn

I had the same with Gutierrez complaining about being homesick whilst managing Newcastle.

Left to join Stoke.

The manager mode is horrible.

After the first two seasons I just find myself simming all the pointless matches. Which there are a lot when you have a team worth 500million +.

It's boring.

I just created another account and made super teams with my mate and we just play that.

Yeah I basically just play versus as well.

Haha nope. Got a $65 million offer from barca for Assaidi too. Haven't decided if I want to go ahead with it yet.

Congratulations on finding a way to change the game's currency to yen.

From my experience Dani Pacheco is a better left winger than Assaidi anyway.
