If Scott is serious, he will at least get rid of 3 of them
Wouldn't be surprised if he only cuts 1 or 2 tops.

I think the consensus of people is that it is overdue some of these young blokes be given some game time and others be put on notice. Not sure stress is the right term, rather I think some are a little surprised with the structure of the selected side.
This weeks team seems to be picked adhoc with little thought of structure. I would rather test our depth out with a balanced side for starters. You would be pushing to see a more top heavy team selected.
Yep, Jones and Thomas are safe. Power should go, I can't see Scott tolerating his piss poor attempts at being a footballer. Harris is the interesting one. I can't help but think that Scott may believe he can get the best out of Harris.Wouldn't be surprised if he only cuts 1 or 2 tops.
Harro can play... he just can't run. I don't know if Scott is going to be able to fix that.I can't help but think that Scott may believe he can get the best out of Harris.
In other words Crock, you're damned if you do and damned if you don't. Structure was never a consideration when the calls for a number of players' heads was most shrill on this board. It's only when the changes are made that we realise certain maligned players possibly do serve a purpose, albeit that "they won't be in our next premiership team".

Jones is far from safe. I reckon it's just about over for CJ.
Scott has said repeatedly that he values players who win there own ball, Harris is definitely a player who does that, so I'd say Harris might get another season.
I wouldn't call it stress on my part, but Obst is not going to be an AFL footballer. The endeavor is there and the work ethic, but the thing we're trying to get away from he brings in spades - crap disposal. With regards to the outs, we'll never know, but maybe Scott has already started influencing his influence.I'm not too fussed.
We have nix to play for, and are giving a host of players a (possibly overdue) chance to show their wares against the best side in the comp, in a match we'd struggle to win either way.
Planning for 2010 has begun.
Why all the stress?
