I loved watching a great game of footy. Well done to all involved in a splendid spectacle. Best game in the world. It's that nebulous, wonderful, unpredictable thing called change of momentum which continues to captivate.

That's why I adore sport. In most people, players and followers, it brings out their best.

That was the game of the year. A high quality intense game between two old rivals. Hats off to North coming back from 33 points down to beat Essendon by 12 points in a Saturday Night epic.

Thanks North for serving justice where justice needed to be served. Enjoyed watching that come back. But gee, what a choke by the Bombres. Had everything going there way then when the pressure was on they crumbled like an under cooked pavlova.

North shit first half Essendon shit second half , North will get crucified next week , as would Essendon had they won. Neither are good enough for Port Freo Sydney or Hawthorn. Fact.
Every time in the second half Essendon had a chance to go into the forward line and the place was empty. Well they were trying to stop Norths run on but no one had the run left to go down the front. Neither would have got past next week, North may if, as people are saying Geelong is dead, but that 'll be it.

Makes everyone realise that the finals is a money gathering fest for the AFL. Tonight Nth v Ess waste of time.
