Surely they will wear the design from last year. It's one of the below jumpers, please figure it out yourself.

Does anyone know how long it takes to print and ship 30 odd jumpers? Mero probably knows.

But I'm guessing ISC could have done up a design already and have it ready to print. But are there any potential issues that could arise? Does ink need to be bought or programmed or left for a period to cool? The club is seemingly saying it's a "60-40" in happening.

Take it with however much salt your diet will allow, but a friend's friend (who goes for Richmond) said to me that the Tigers were stopped from having an inverse strip in the AFL by the WAFC, because of a clash with the WA State of Origin identity.

If that's the case, it would explain why the VFL side can use it but not the AFL side, and it would also put the previous incident at Patersons Stadium in a new light; it would mean the Eagles were forced to wear a clash strip at home because of the actions of their own (majority) owners...

Why on earth would WA get a say over what an AFL team wears? The SA jumper clashes with Gold Coast, the Vic jumper clashes with Carlton.

Not disputing your story btw. Does kind of make sense.

Well, I was about to say that "clash" was probably the wrong word, since it's practically the same design. However, it turns out they stopped using that in 1989; I thought they'd gone back to it for Representative games, but now it's just Yellow with a Black Swan.

In which case, I'm just as surprised as you are. Why would the WAFC want to protect an identity they haven't used for 25 years (barring West Coast's use as a Heritage strip)?

It's still the jumper, the gold with black sash, most people in WA would see as the state jumper. It's the one the big names of the WAFL era wore; the Peakes, Michaels, Riolis, Krakouers... it's when State of Origin was big. Most people don't really know what the Teal Cup or WAFL Reps wear, probably still assume the same thing, who knows. So in a way it's pretty cool to maintain that.

However, how much respect has the AFL really shown the WAFL and SANFL over the years? If Richmond said "look, we can solve the clash issue, we're willing to wear it, and we reckon it'll make a heap of cash" the AFL would go into a daze and tick it off – I'm sure they have the rights to, I mean I doubt the WA Football Commission even have a trademark on their old jumpers. They'll accept whatever makes money and whatever serves their purpose.

It would be nice if they were that helpful, but I reckon it's just Richmond more than anything.

Besides, the Tiges could use some old design and tweak it a bit (ie, a yellow number panel). Or just bastardise a design and call it a 'heritage jumper,' as done by Essendon and the Lions

I mean, considering they'd wear it one to two times a season, you could trade off its rare appearances – celebrate some old player for each game, use it to hallmark the 33rd anniversary of some event, whatever.

I hope they ditch the power logo above the tit

Will it have the white back or black ? White for less clash

It will be the 'Prison bar' jumper which is similar to this below

what if they cant produce it in time

There was a lot of worry about this yesterday, but ISC confirmed today that they can do it, and honestly, they were always going to be able to. It's 44 guernseys. 50 if you count emergencies. A week is plenty of time if you really really need to get something done. For a finals match, ISC were never going to let us down.

Also, isn't the main ISC factory in Australia with only replicas being made overseas? or am I thinking of another company?

Yeah, I'm pretty certain that the PIs are made in Sydney. I wonder if someone like Puma or Nike could have gotten the jumpers together as quickly, assuming they're not made in Australia..
