Yeah, I'm pretty certain that the PIs are made in Sydney. I wonder if someone like Puma or Nike could have gotten the jumpers together as quickly, assuming they're not made in Australia..

Tigers CEO Brendon Gale weighed in on the issue via Twitter, publishing a photo of the club's clash strip and stating it had been used against the Power since 2010.
Its all a load of bs imo. If Essendon have a ''clash'' jumper why can't Richmond get one? #protectedspecieshttp://www.afl.com.au/news/2014-09-...m.au/news/2014-09-02/port-to-wear-prison-bars
Fair point made by Richmond...if it's ok for the past few years and approved for 2014...
I think the numbers would be too hard to read on the field

That doesn't just apply to finalsIMO AFL want finals to be the most visually pleasing as they can be (unless it's two big Vic clubs then **** it)
Bastardises a great jumper and gets rid of the bold aura of the pure black and white. This mock up too is half light and half dark which does bugger all to solve a clash.
This would have worked.
All to do with Collingwood being the original Black & White team in the competition. Also, it's ******* ridiculous that Eddie had to give them permission to wear it, **** him.
It does a lot to solve a clash if the team they're playing against isn't wearing black/navy, white, or tealBastardises a great jumper and gets rid of the bold aura of the pure black and white. This mock up too is half light and half dark which does bugger all to solve a clash.
Just out of curiosity, why don't the Port home jumpers have the white number panel at the back? It would have been good to keep it when they moved to the chevron design.
Would just mean you can't wear white against Port. Just like you can't wear yellow against WCE or red against Sydney.Would cause clash havoc. AFL House would asplode.
Yeah it is perfect. Red and blue mixed together is purple and the triple V harks back to South. That rebrand you guys underwent was a great call.
What colours make purple, akkaps?Blue? Weren't Freo's colours purple, red and green.
Good, good.Red and blue, but I don't know where they got the blue from?
East Fremantle was blue and South Fremantle was red (with chevrons). If there was only one Fremantle team then they would've been in the same situation as Port Adelaide imo. East Fremantle is an amazing club.Blue? Weren't Freo's colours purple, red and green.

But there had white number panels on their SBS jumpers.
