We have to win 4 from the last 5 games

cant see us making it with the way we are playing
When I did the ladder predictor I had us making finals by winning 3 of the last 5 games. I had had us winning against the Bulldogs, Saints and North. The Bulldogs game is a 8 point game though (denying them 4 points is just as important as us winning 4 points), the same with the Saints.

You are correct we won't make it with the way we have been playing. We have been very ordinary since after the Bye. If we can find the form we had in the 3 weeks leading to the Bye then we might be able to make it.(I based my ladder predictor on the optimistic view we recapture our form pre-bye).

lets get pies umpiring for the rest of the year

we wouldnt loose again

I still think we can make it on 12.5 wins

For this scenario not to come true we basically need all 3, near 50:50 games involving Dogs (beating cats at GMBH), Giants (beating dogs in Ballarat) and Blues (beating suns at GC) to go against us. Certainly doable. In summary, several upsets would need to happen with the teams around us for us not to make it on 12.5.

Also funnily enough, if Melbourne caught up to lions in % and came third (very likely in this scenario). We could have 4 finals at the G!

As long as Carlton finish 9th and Collingwood lose the Grand Final, everything will be ok......
And the Druggies dont make it / loose their final

Yep, all will be good in the world for that moment!

bad % will keep us out.
Percentage alone suggests we don't make it - not always accurate but a damn good guide over the decades.

I just saw that Reiwoldt said if he decides this is his last year, the north melbourne game will be a good final send off game.

Does that mean he thinks we wont play finals?

I watched it on 360. He also said we might still play finals and the choice might get taken away from him.

Interstate final possible as well. Last home and away game cheaper to attend, then any finals.

Melbourne, Dogs & Port away. (Our hardest games)

St Kilda @ Marvel (Hopefully we win and Mini says we love it here) and Kangaroos are the 5 games left.

Hope we turn it on and maybe only lose to Port, but I also wouldn't be surprised if we don't win another game.

Reckon we will win 2 and lose 3.

No finals for us.
