Prison Break gets better towards the end of s1, still cheesy as hell though.

But alas nothing else to watch though.
My brother watched that religiously on FTA TV when it came on in the states in 2005. I never got into it. Parts of it were filmed at Joliet State Prison(after it closed) which is about 39km from my family home.

Was before everyone was streaming so there was less choice probably a reason why it was overrated.

Back in '81 or '82 I joined a video shop near the Catholic school where I was teaching. I stopped in one day after school and a fire started in their electrical box. I told the video shop worker to ring the fire department after she found an electrical fire extinguisher behind the counter. The problem was that the ele trical box was inside the cordoned off R rated video section. I went through the curtain and put out the fire. I had visions of our Headmaster walking in and seeing me in the R rated section! The firemen contained what was left.

I was rewarded for my efforts by being given free videos for a month. A bloody month!
