This isn't a thread about Melbourne by the way, just saying.

I think there's a few threads you can talk about Melbourne if you like Coasters.
No, here's fine too.

If I was you, I'd be more worried about your drug infested lot. Especially so that you're going to need a rebuild while Tassie take all of the cream picks over the next few years.

How many years was it between flags for your rabble?

I suppose we can expect your irrelevance for that long again.

What a weird statement to say "Liam and his partner Evana are safe". What's that got to do with it? of course he's safe. What about the other bloke? is he safe too?

My guess is that the club have deliberately included this, to try to insinuate there is more to the story than just a footy player getting into a fight. I.e. Liam was minding his own business with his missus, this bloke has started harassing or threatening them and eventually he said enough is enough and decided to square up to him.

Just a thought...their is no context to this at the moment and everyone just loves to jump to the worst possible conclusion.

I don't think the May, Prestia, Lynch incident involved police, yet there's no footage of that in the media ..

There have been other incidents which did not involve police & the footage was not posted online by media outlets.

Um ok?

I’m sure if there was May, Prestia and Lynch footage available, they would be showing it gleefully, as without police involvement it just becomes good footage of a fight, which any journo knows is worth its weight in gold (or clicks, in modern terms).

Or are you insinuating some kind of bias based on the clubs involved that would stop them from showing the footage (if it did exist..)?

Don’t be silly.

I'm saying it's bizarre more footage of controversial incidents aren't posted online & in the media.

Why that happens, I have no clue.

Everyone has a phone & they film everything.

We all know some clubs are much better at having controversial incidents hidden, swept under the carpet.. again, why or how that happens, I don't know.

hahahaha

it did make me laugh. literally had an ex president accuse the current senior coach of drug use in court, opening himself up to contempt. whilst arguably their most important inside mid is completely off the rails. another has tested positive and an ex player highly influential at the club has suggested he's seen the drug use in the group first hand.

but this one "guys moving too quick... gotta be on the gear..."
His narratvie doesn't add up does it?

Oliver was juiced to the gills on A class substances last year and there wasn't anyone slower plodding around in an AFL midfield.

You’re right, there could be much more too it and likely there is, but Liam, putting up his fists and attacking or at least counter attacking is certainly not diffusing the situation, no matter how you want to paint it. Hands in the air, turn, walk away would all look better on camera than what he did. Club just doing what they’ve always done and basing their response on how good the player is. Liam is lucky he’s a pretty good player.

Putting his hands down, walking away and being king hit wouldn't help him much, would it?

Must be nice in your ivory tower.
Oh for gods sake. The guys on several hundred grand a year. He lives in a bigger ivory tower than we’d ever dream of. Get off you horse of pity. There’s no reason he needed to smack a fella round. Could’ve been the bigger man and walked away. Once a peanut always a peanut.
