By all accounts the last public appearance Liam had with the RFC at the clubs b&f he accounted for himself in a rational and mature manner.

So that’s the only way we can assess his alcohol infused evening in Perth.

Eagles turned 14 into Bo Allen and Gross.

Thats what established clubs outside expansion states need to do. They don't get gifted unlimited academy access and get leg ups from AFL House.

Id have kept 3 and used it on Jagga then taken Owies in the PSD or as a DFA if they really wanted him. Jagga has 250 gamer written all over him.

One pick thurned into 4 players. Two will add instant quality and depth. Owies is a Cripps replacement who likely retires this year as does Sheed early due to his foot..

Baker and Owies replace Cripps and Sheed to help the kids.

Bo Allan was mentioned in the top 10 pre draft. Absolute stea at 16l..

That doesnt explain the underlying reason WHY the Eagles did the split. They needed more than the output of one 18 yr old kid when those in that range all had questions on their output.

There was no Harley this draft.

And they needed to split to land Baker.

They have a gap in 24 to 28 year olds and Cripps and Sheed will be gone end of 2025.

That is WHY the Eagles split 3. Only time will tell if 4 players produce more than 1.
