Marra probably deserves a couple of cheapies, has been manhandled without reward a few times in recent weeks in the VFL.

I reckon he could play in defence. Has that mid sized ability to play small but also intercept and peel off.

Skills are solid.

Yeah I think he definitely could, a bit Howe like.

Only thing is though I’m pretty happy with our medium defenders and I think Doms got natural forward instincts which are a bit harder to find - when you find that I think it’s a waste to not utilise it. So with the openings for wing/HFF in the side I’d like to see us persist with him there for the time being, if it doesn’t work out then absolutely I think he’ll be able to settle back

Really nice play there from Parker to JJ to Schache and a brilliant finish. If Schache has oneeeee last tiny chance to make it surely he just slims down and plays as a tall flanker who runs all day and covers a huge amount of ground. I don’t think we really play a clean enough kicking game to utilise him in that role in the AFL but I could see him playing 4th two forward in some team. Would have probably dominated in peak Hawks

Yeah agreed, not sure how his tank is but if he can build it to an elite level and get up and back all day. Help out in defence like he has a few times today and drift forward and take a couple too - I think that should be the prototype for him to work towards
