Footy Classified is a joke. Instead of football commentators and ex-players talking about the game we constantly get journalists talking about articles they wrote.

People don't care about the football media! Sadly Caro, Hutchy and Damo think that we do.

The attempted point scoring about articles/reporting etc. was BORING! What a waste of 10 mins of the program.

Garry is just bitter and twisted about where Melbourne is and he knows that he is partly to blame (being on the panel to pick the previous two Melbourne coaches).

Except Hutchy was completely wrong blaming Melbourne.

Frawley's deal was front-loaded (like most players are these days) to allow more flexibility going forward and all that was done before FA was created and now because of the ridiculous concept of only the last year of a players contract determining his status as FA he became unrestricted.

Hutchy was the tool in that segment.

Yeah, I really liked it. However, that was back when there were zero other options, so it might not stand out these days.

I vaguely remember Gerard Healy being a bit cranky when Ch 7 shafted him as host, replacing him with Brucey Boy (right?). Gerard made a couple of veiled comments about it at the time on radio

I thought Bruce was the host of the show since its inception in 1994 until about 2000 or 2001 then in 2002 David Parkin and/or others took over when Bruce gave it away.

Bruce hosted all except 2000 (Tim Lane hosted, they had Wallace on the couch with Mike in his last year) and the last year of the original run when Hutchy fed his ego.

Interesting to see if the massive EFC protection racket of the last 2 years on that show continues without Law calling the shots.
