Do it!
- switched to 'fighting eagle' across the chest with new home and away designs. Went from v-neck to wishbone neck. Watermarks no longer imprinted in the fabric but sublimated as part of the design. Team name 'West Coast' stitched into the back of the neck collar. Little weird man stick figure now on the front Puma patch, not the graphic of the man marking to football.
- switched number font
- no changes, but wore 1992 10 anniversary royal blue with wings guernsey in three matches.
- watermarks switched from AFL logo to club logo (this was across all Puma team guernseys). New away guernsey introduced. Ochre retired. Changed number font (similar to 1996-1999 font but the 3 is different).
- Hungry Jack's back as away guernsey sponsor. SGIO versions of away guernsey still used at home. Collar and cuffs slightly thicker. Heritage guernsey worn for first time.
- Slight template change, hem now curved along the back. Team name stitched into back of the neck changed to 'West Coast Eagles'. First appearance of home tripanel design with HJ logos used away (so now technically four versions of home/away guernseys). SGIO logo has longer white box and touches the wings on the royal guernsey. Heritage guernsey worn again (same design) but different Heritage Round logo and tiny differences with rear SGIO logo.
- Changed number font (plus thicker white line). Puma patch changed from white on black to red on white. Still made two different versions of home and away guernseys, and also in the preseason home and away guernseys spotted with alternating sponsors front and back, so potentially eight versions of home/away guernseys. Plus 2006 heritage round guernsey.
- New template, stretchier elastane material. New home guernsey, 'fighting eagle' retired, now big eagle logo. Front Puma patch now sublimated on, not stitched on. Puma tag inside neck no llonger a tag but heat pressed onto fabric. Strangely, neck collar still cotton but arm cuffs elastane, meaning on the home the neck had piping but not the arms. Back HJ logo stretched. Still eight versions of home/away guernseys due to sponsor logos. Numbers changed to smaller white line plus AFL logo in them, but I think the font remains the same. 2007 state heritage guernsey.
- Template change, different collar. This affects the design of the wings. No more 'West Coast Eagles' stitched name inside neck collar.
No more alternating sponsor home/away guernseys, in fact they wear 2005/2006 versions of SGIO royal guernseys at home because they didn't get any 2008 royal SGIO sets made.
- Switched to alternating sponsors front and back. Four versions of home/away guernseys worn.
- GPS pockets introduced. Only one version each of home and away. White clash guernsey introduced with two versions due to sponsors.
- The material feels like it switches away from elastane and is back to retail version of material. 25th anniversary guernsey worn in two matches. The registered trademark symbol (®) is added to the AFL logo. Two versions of clash.
- Bye bye HJ's, hello Bankwest as away sponsor. New away guernsey, with white removed from wings and eagle head (plus larger eagle head. 1992 20th anniversary guernsey worn. Dig Deep guernsey worn. I'm sure there are two versions of the clash in existence.
- Material switches back to elastane. Dig Deep guernsey worn. Two versions of clash?
- New Puma template. Wings are now cut off??!! White outline removed from numbers. Indigenous guernsey worn. How many versions of clash?
- No changes. Yellow Indigenous guernsey instead of white. Not sure how many versions of clash.
- New home and away guernseys. Navy wings return after 16 years in the wilderness. Deeper wings now flow to the back! GPS pocket has changed. 30th anniversary guernsey worn in two matches. Indigenous guernsey from 2015 is reused (literally), with heatpressed R logo. Yellow outline removed from clash's numbers. Not sure how many versions of clash exist. Retail versions of navy home were produced with SGI logo, but SGIO change their mind and pay for an exchange program. SGIO logo remains, first seen in 1995.
- GPS pocket changed, now heatpressed? onto the guernsey so no stitching is seen on the outside.
