Irvine an interesting selection for me. coming off absolutely no form, and is yet to make even a grade hundred im pretty sure. The selectors must see something in him. See how he goes..

Over rated batsman. A handy bowler though. But considering that we already have Doherty and Kreja, we don't need another spinner.

I would like to see them pick Anderson or someone who is a proven run scorer.

I think the key was returning him to the top of the order where he is proven as a run scorer.
