Helmet probably saved the life of an Essendon and AFL great (who should probably know better than to ride in conditions like yesterday!)

Even the smuggest of smug no-helmet do gooders would agree helmets should be complusory in peak hour traffic on major roads, especially serious riders riding 20 kms or more on road bikes.
