1996 was won by Olivier Panis who beat home 2 other cars for a total of three finishers. Teams like Manor and Sauber would just tour if it rains, on the off chance they pick up points by default.

Even in dry its a place the backmarkers get a decent chance for points. Frank Williams first car grabbed 2nd there, Tyrrell 97, Arrows 98 and 02, Prost 01, and Spyker in 08 before Kimi ****ed it up. Not many big airport sized runoffs to keep the drivers fighting another day.
