Dunno if you all have seen this one from Dick Pusey, I’ve been following the hashtag on twitter closely.

The court today heard the mortgage broker from Fitzroy was recorded on the bodycam of a dying Leading Senior Constable Lynette Taylor.

He allegedly told her: “There you go. Amazing. Absolutely amazing. All I wanted to do was go home and have my sushi. Now you’ve f****ed my f***ing car.”

No words. Her family have to see that too.

What's the difference between a psychopath and a sociopath? He's one of them, that's for sure. Moments after a catastrophic incident where 4 people have been crushed in front of him and that's what he comes up with? I get that he was on drugs and would have had adrenaline coursing through him, and rational thought would be hard to come by but still, that is cold beyond belief.

We don’t know anything about the truck driver yet, whether he did it on purpose, whether he blacked out, whether he was drunk or stoned or whether he was just trying to slow down from 100 to 40. When we know he will be talked about and dissected no?

What we do know is that Dick Pusey is a campaigner with a long record and deserves everything he gets, not just for driving 140 under the influence of drugs, but for all his disgusting and cowardly acts after the accident. Understandable even logical given up to this point and without enough information, the truck driver appears to have blacked out from a medical episode or seizure and most of us would be prepared to forgive an accident.

There's nothing accidental about seizing the opportunity to mock in the face of a dying woman while filming it and running away to post it on facebook.

Just implying my scepticism of a "medical episode" being the entire reason for the crash and there not being some fault on the driver.
There is a reason that driver is under 24 hour police guard right now.

Agree entirely. The episode after could have completely been for show and I think they were searching his home for medicines that he may take for any medical conditions or just recreational drugs.
The cameras wont lie and you would think they would be able to detail what the truck driver was doing.
Of course it could all be legit (medical). Reckon I would have an episode to if I just run down four people to and the police guard may just be a suicide watch.

Giving benefit of doubt atm, I'm finding it too hard to believe the timing in two random psychos crossing each other in those circumstances. It's a Tarantino movie.

He might have swerved for lots of reasons, who knows. Slowing down, on his phone, or just wanted to mow down cops.
It's definitely interesting they raided his house and removed items, though it probably has nothing to do with Dick Pusey..I think all of Australia is waiting for the investigation/presser about the truck driver.

I can't recall many other tragic accidents resulting in the issuing and execution of a search warrant, but I could be wrong
