One restriction - cant seem to watch replays on the Footy channel thru the app. Pretty poor.

Edit - just found this on their website:

Footy Play
Replays of the following games within 12 hours of the end of the live match will not be available on Foxtel Go

Then lists a handful of round 8&9 games (presumably the FTA games).

I was playing around with it last night, but it didn't seem to have any "live" or replay coverage on at all (ie. no 360, on the couch etc). Had an ad for an upcoming game and that was it?

Try the channel up one spot on the list. Foxtel Play only seems to do games from Channel 7.

Shame that we can't watch the shows (Open Mic, AFL 360 etc) on the Catch Up feature, I rarely watch a show live on Foxtel.

not only males but people under 40. I see alot more people using android based phones than i do iPhones especially in younger generations.

one would hazard a guess that the people that use Foxtel Go are more likely to be tech savvy people, and the tech savvy ones tend to use android more than iOS

Cannot believe I took so long to get on board, love this app! Will come in very handy during the Ashes when I want to watch both the footy and cricket at once.
