I have Barco as my fifth Def. Just hoping he gets a gig.
Will be interesting to see where Eze plays. If he stays at CRP he'll be the main man and get plenty of attention from oppo defenders.

I'm happy avoiding Arsenal until after GW5. In a perfect world I bank up some transfers and can just bring in a Saka/Gabriel at that point.

Starting to get into planning a bit more now. The PlanetFPL correspondent week is great value to get some insights into specific teams.

The low-mid range midfielder is a tricky one. I currently have Winks and Gibbs White. Could turf MGW and get someone else. Just not sure who. ESR is kinda tempting. Forest do have a tidy start though.

I feel like this is one of the traps we fall into each year. People get sucked into perceived value options and end up with a bunch of 'mid-pricers' to use AFL Fantasy parlance and you end up sacrificing guaranteed minutes and quality in the pursuit of value.

I have Trent, Salah and Haaland.
ESR, Rogers, Johnson and Wood that aren’t guaranteed minutes.
a 4.5 GK that I hate and 1 million in the bank.

Johnson and Wood could easily become Nkunku and Muniz for more security. likewise Andreas for ESR.

might have to use some of the spare cash to upgrade the keeper but I just know I’m going to regret having that money tied up there.

Before our Zubimendi links, it seems like Elliott would be starting.

I think Elliott will get a good run if starts somewhere in the year. But not sure when, big watch for all our midfielders and if they are in form. Gotta bite the bullet I reckon. Slot will try play his best team from the start

Who are people leaning toward for keeper? I've got Pickford. Had him at the start of last season, Everton were junk, he was junk, got rid of him and then he dominated. Not sure if I will keep him as of yet, but not sure who I'd get as an alternative.
