Hard to see much point using transfers on defenders for the most part, so definitely depends!!

I’d keep one.
You need to decide what’s more important. Gvardiol for job security and returns or Lewis to save money.
I’d never take a hit for a defender transfer unless it funded a big attacking upgrade.

Palmer to Saka isn’t worth a transfer to me, certainly not for a hit.
That said you probably need a plan to get Saka in soon.
Also, I’m a fairly conservative sort of manager. someone like Tso1967 would probably make that move in a heartbeat.

City have a good fixture run GW14-22. it’s not hard to make an argument for owning one of their attackers….
…then you realise the guy you really want costs 15 mill and is horribly out of form (by his standards anyway) and the rest are equally out of form and aren’t nailed.

surely they turn it around though. there’s too much quality in squad for them no to.

Happily punted Foden early to get Saka in.

No Arsenal defenders currently so that will be high on the agenda for next weeks trade. Quite like Timber for £5.5.

Kneejerked Havertz out early in the week and avoided the drop. Not gonna bother with Havertz, I originally picked him coz I wanted a solid 90 min man but then he randomly gets zero minutes. Gonna get Saka soon and save up transfers for Haaland

Havertz was probably just a rest off international duty with the upcoming fixture congestion. He played 90 in the CL midweek.
with Saka and Odegaard running amok he’ll get plenty of chances too.
I understand the frustration though.

I rolled the transfer. If Gabriel is out I may not have cover.
Could have done Konate to Van Hecke or Mazraoui but I don’t really fancy either of them. I’ll get a proper defender next week with the money from selling Bruno.
