not sure if i go Mbuemo to Bowen this week and stick with Haaland over Salah. Or roll to the weekend and go Haaland to Jackson or Isak and Mbuemo to Salah. Would allow me to get Trent the week after. Really not sure. Have held Haaland this long, surely it turns soon

i have backed him in. I have come this far i might as well accelerate over the cliff. Mbuemo to Bowen it is. Going without Salah, keeping Haaland and hoping Haaland starts getting some of those Salah penalties

Hammers have a good fixture run and he's locked. (and slightly cheaper)

I find each year in FPL there's a bandwagon where I doubt it's validity but it works for a few weeks and I just think '**** it I need to jump on' - Gundogan a few years ago, Lingard at West Ham, etc. all fall into that category. This year it was getting on Palmer and Salah almost at the expense of all else at one point. I think there's a mentality around hits and whether they're worth it, but for those big hitters they pay off almost instantly. With Palmer I had to just be patient and leave him there over some down weeks, but it does pay off to go with the flow sometimes.

If you can get a half decent rank and then end up with something reasonably template it's less likely you'll suffer big falls (or rises) from then on. And getting to the rank, when you're lucky enough to do so, is often a case of getting on those bandwagons early and banking the gains before everyone else jumps on.

Me too...happy with the 2 points tbf given he shipped 3.

I went Faes up to VvD with my transfer this week. Was carrying around £3m for the past few weeks without a need for it. Hopefully buys some security in my defence over the xmas period as he is nailed on and looks to be over the knock he was carrying over international break the way he was rising for headers in the box against City.

(S)alah this week over Palmer which is a bit against the grain so my overall rank will likely live and die by that decision should one of them blank.
