Who please? Embedded tweets aren't loading for me, and Twitter is now requiring me to have an account to view Twitter streams.

Is it Chapman?

Edit: never mind. I've seen the Chapman thread.

We've got absolute maximum 2 more games we can drop (probably only 1 given our %) and still have to play Pies and Cats away, Brisbane and Port at home. It's over.

We need to play Ras if Fyfe is out. We know what Brodie can do and he wasn't even that good (stats wise) at Peel today.
Play Ras to start and Brodie to finish.

I agree we can only drop 1 more game (we are out of the race, season is done)

disagree on playing Ras, has plenty more he can work on at Peel, Pace, Kicking, bursting out of a stoppage instead of dinky handballs

It's completely fine for him to work on his game at Peel, we can't rush everyone into the team at once

If Fyfe is out then we bring in Sturt and allow Jackson/Johnson to soak up Fyfes midfield time

You can't work on pace (in any meaningful way) and burst will improve with size to the limit set by his speed.

He's an extractor. If we want a burst mid we should recruit one.

People actually buying this about Fyfe? He was subbed because he was s**t. One of the few strong decisions JL has made, I respect him for it.
So what you’re saying is that it’s out of character? Which makes the injury story more likely? And makes sense that he was off due to the injury?

Think it through.

He was a burst mid at lower level so that's what we drafted him as

Pace may hold him back but he needs to find something in that aspect, work with a professional or something

He looks slow coming on against tired bodies, imagine it from the start of the game

Where are you getting burst mid from? I can't imagine anyone that ever watched him play thought that is what he was. It doesn't show up on his draft profiles either.

Yep he is an extractor, hard nut who needs to feed Brayshaw, Johnson.
Can also play forward, who else can?
Not Sturt, not Banfield, not Fyfe anymore.
But needs game time, and is wasted as the sub.
We have dual players but we never see them in these roles.

Just the highlights of him bursting forward and kicking goals

Taken in the top 10 suggests we thought we had those capabilities too

Otherwise I'm not sure why he would be so highly rated

There are many reasons why someone might go top 10, burst is just one of them.

He's big and can break a tackle but he looks standard issue handball clearance guy who also gets outside ball because he works his ass off. Decent overhead which is why he has some forward reputation.

I don't know where you saw the burst but I've not seen that.

I'm of the understanding that a big reason we took him was bursting through packs at the lower levels

I'll be disappointed if he turns out to be just an accumulator, don't need a top 10 for those kind of players

I'm still holding out hope for him but as it stands I do have him in the Matt Crouch kind of mold (from watching at peel)

He does look to run a like his ankles don't have a lot of movement in them, but it could be deceptive because he is very tall, his legs don't need to move as often to cover ground.

But I want to see him built like a fortress so those opposition push off's and ducks etc don't let them break free, and his do.
