Do you ever think that someone like Darling just needs his head properly taken off to stop him throwing it back? Hopefully Toby F Greene clotheslines him. Two birds, one stone.

That's a job for my boy Darcy, it's just like flinging cowpats on the ol' farm.

I'd like to keep our boys on the paddock :p Although I could imagine Darcy and Apeness doing a solid 1-2 combo.. imagine getting tackled by those two at once

Both these boys will receive some attention from the match review panel if they play any number of AFL games. Their natural aggression and size will guarantee they occasionally transgress. I don't see that as a bad thing as long as it isn't too frequent.

Intimidating big guys make the rest of the team walk a little taller.

Saw a couple of the boys out last night - to add further fuel to the Logue height debate he was standing next to sutty and I found it very hard to split the difference in height between them.
Tabs however stood head and shoulders above - he's a big unit ....

I wonder where the club see him playing. Surely our number one target going into the draft wasn't an undersized kpp, they must see him differently

Correct. Had a good look at training yesterday and the draft camp height of 190.5cm or whatever it was would be right. He's 191 at the most.

Undersized KPD are actually very valuable these days. Someone who is tall enough to spoil KPFs (which he is) and take a contested grab but still have the agility and mobility to run off and break the lines is gold. If they can kick as well you've got yourself a gem! It's what we need to replace Jonno but you can never have too many;

Ibbo - can mark and run but isn't creative or decisive nor does he have a great kick.
Sutty - can defend but not mark. Is creative but can't kick.
Hughes - see Ibbo
AP - see Sutty but will improve his marking.

I don't rate sutty as a defender .

Suttcliffe should be midfield and backline depth. Sheridan showed more goal nous than I thought he possessed last year. It surprised and intrigued me. Would like to see him play on a half forward flank, especially given our recent troubles with Yarran and possibly Bennell.

I am interested to see
How Langdon, sheriden/sutty , b.hill and Weller all play and interchange position

Sutty should be depth full stop. He cops far too much flack on here but the reality is he's not quite at the level required consistently enough. We should now have better options.

Shero was training with the mids on Friday if that's anything to go by.

Agree with sutty comment, I think the current recruit team apart from sean darcy look into players with more versatility of playing various position but a trim sean can be that kind of player also.

Agreed, but it's a damn shame. His 2013 and 2014 were brilliant, he showed so much footballin nous and had a great kick on him.

Bummed at how much he's regressed.

I am not sure he has regressed. Often a players output is dependent on who he has around him and what he is being asked to do. I expect him to have a decent season.

I think he's been asked to take on too much since 2013 due to our list deficiencies.

You're right, he does have a great football brain and as a pure defender he's very good but that's where it ends.

His disposal by foot is inconsistent at best and he's regularly been asked to stop players quicker or stronger than him and at the same time run off and create.

When given a role that suits him i.e. a pure stopping role on a player with roughly his mobility e.g. the job he's done on Darling, Heaney he's totally fine and very impressive but that doesn't happen enough.
