She had a purple patch around Feb/Mar but hasn't been in good form since. Wasn't expecting much from the Aussies this year at RG but off to a pretty decent start.

Shame Kim couldn't get the win last night but great results from the Aussies last night.
Storm is a great story with it being her first win.
Kubler I don't think looked in particularly great form but managed to struggle through.
And Kokk closing out a straight sets match.
Hopefully we get a couple more tonight.

Actually, I think it is Kostyuk’s fault. Got booed and probably deserves it.
I think if players are still refusing handshakes due to political issues, they should be banned from competing. Sorry but sports should not be turned into a political issue but some players (particularly Ukrainians in this sport) are too focused on politics that they signal out their opponents based on nationality. I just feel that is wrong.

Susanne Celik is her name.
No. Never played at WTA level again. Had a couple of goes at qualies at the majors but never did well. Had an issue with her wrist and had to have surgery probably a year after playing Schmieds... She then tried to return but struggled to regain her ranking before covid hit
She never returned after Covid. She is now 26 so that is probably that.
