Good final in the end. start and the last game was a bit poor but that end of the 2nd set.....So good.

Interesting final, you could argue Iga's nerves helped made it interesting as the tennis was a mixed bag but Muchova did raise her game for a while there. She's going to regret that game she played at 4-3 in the third for a long time. No way near a choke but the words mental fragility would describe that final to me. Both struggled with it big time (and fair enough too, for different reasons)

Djokovic is well known for grinding his opposition down, he took the first set and even losing the 2nd set, it was still close and it was where Alcaraz threw everything at him to the point that it wasn't sustainable. I laugh at all these "well if Alcaraz didn't cramp he would've won"... well, no, Djokovic would've likely won this in four. History shows it.

I think you are overrating Alcaraz a tad here - Djokovic is used to beating hard hitters, there's only one person who can beat him at the FO this year and he isn't playing.
Sorry Thawn but can we just concentrate on the women for more five minutes.
Djorko won't be bothered at all. I think he was more worried just getting to the final. He is absolutely brillant once he is in the final.

Hahaha, there's been a few of those this tourney for me. I can't see to stay late like I used to. Felt embarrassed falling asleep during Novak/Karen the other night.

I’m nervous. Not as nervous as I was in the SF. But he was underdog there. He’s a massive, massive favourite here and rightfully so but yeah I’m feeling it.
