he has been looking the best and won one of the masters on the way.

It's because of the rain I think. Channel 9 have the rights to three matches a day and if those matches are washed out it seems they have no capacity (contractually) to switch their coverage to other matches (i.e. the ones on the courts with covers). Not really satisfactory. One would hope in future years they consider the potential impact of rain before they sign on the dotted line.
