Freo fans prepare for frustration

As mentioned we're a supporterbase well versed in frustration.

The first hurdle will be trade week, if I hear even a whisper of our first draft pick on the table, I'll start having sleepless nights.

I'd hate to think we have brought a Conolly/Schwab type short term influence to the club...

Only real issue I can see for Freo, is the timing of their run. They would like to capitalise in the next year or two no doubt, before Sandi, Pavlich and McPharlin decline. However if this were not possible, Z Clarke can be nurtured as first ruck and Silvagni as an absolute gun defender, with the drafting of a tall forward KPP to replace Pav probably the major requirement. Although I will cop a great deal of sledging from their supporters, I sincerely hope Freo can take it to the next level, perhaps even winning a premiership or two along the way.

Pavlich is a once a ten year type player for individual clubs, you don't get those guys often.

Your right that Clarke is looking good to step into Sandi's shoes when he's gone (I'd argue he's got at least 2-4 good years left). Silvagni is a natural replacement for McPharlin.

Small defenders are in desperate need but they are easily found (when compared to small forwards).

Barlow + Mundy + Suban + Mora having full preseasons and playing majority of 2012 and we will have forward targets in Fyfe and Pavlich who can be complately attacking.

That said all this would have happend with Harvey in charge anyway..

AFTER several years of being a bloody entertaining team to watch, what will happen to the Dockers under Ross Lyon?

As effective as he might be, Lyon turned Saints into a dirge to watch, now he gets one of the most talented, exciting lists in the game ... I feel for Freo fans.

Wow ....I mean WOW coming from a supporter of the second most boring team........WOW
