The usual suspects still doing bugger all (Henry, Tabs, Walker, Hughes) but I'm more disappointed in some of our senior players. Young, Brayshaw, Walters all miles off their best. Get Matt Johnson on for the second half, need to stop rushing everything going forward. JLO needs to develop a plan B becuase we've been found out in all 4 games so far. Game plan is crap.

I’m normally pretty rational but the coach, captain, match committee and whoever the **ck else has anything else to do with game plan and team selection can seriously GAGF.
No doubt there will be some bullshit mention of ‘not paying attention to outside noise’ even though LITERALLY EVERY PERSON OUTSIDE OF THE FOUR WALLS CAN SEE A STEAMING PILE OF s**t REPRESENTING OUR CLUB.

Most disappointing year since 2007 imo.

Both times I was optimistic we were on the brink of challenging only for Freo to break me in typical Freo fashion. This year at least has the saving grace of our squad being very young, in 07 it was pretty much now or never.

All through pre-season I had these flashbacks to seasons like 2007 and 2011 where we followed up a good season with big talk and couldn’t back it up

'08 was as bad with the last quarter fadeouts every week imo.

Melbourne were shocking in 2019 and 20 and stuck with Goodwin despite everyone wanting him out but they had a lot more injuries than we have now. The worry is they'll look at them at stick by JLo even if things don't improve.

While that may be the position he is playing - he was a top 10 draft pick as ruckman not as a forward.

I don't think we will see him kick more than 20 goals in a season.

I think we should cool on the player criticisms. Most have actually played okay, it’s just that we have a game plan that doesn’t work.

Nah the players have to own this too. I'm all for criticising the coaching panel but there have been some horrific individual performances and most have been lacklustre at best.

IMO there's an element of buying into the hype and just assuming things will keep rolling in the right direction. This competition leaves you in the dust very quickly if you relax for even half a second.

Watch them once they get the ball forward of centre. Its either bomb it in or wait an eternity and turn it over, need to lower the eyes and back themselves to hit a chest.

We were finished by 08, most of the team was too old and on the cusp of retirement. The fact we were in so many games gave me faith that the club was on the right path to squeezing as much as possible from the talent we had. Do not feel like we’re doing that at all this year.
