Nah the players have to own this too. I'm all for criticising the coaching panel but there have been some horrific individual performances and most have been lacklustre at best.

IMO there's an element of buying into the hype and just assuming things will keep rolling in the right direction. This competition leaves you in the dust very quickly if you relax for even half a second.

They showed one of rankines goal. Our defenders just stood still while the ball was bobbling around on the ground. Complete lack of effort.

Watch them once they get the ball forward of centre. Its either bomb it in or wait an eternity and turn it over, need to lower the eyes and back themselves to hit a chest.

Yes bombing it in forward is not what they want. The slow movement is from the back half they need speed up

i dont know, that doesn’t indicate enough to me that he’s necessarily interfering. I don’t think we have the right balance of experienced line coaches. Players are doing basic things poorly. Our confidence goes down and the opposition can smell blood. We play shitty, slow football. We select players based on potential impact not actual impact. Something is definitely broken.

Possibly signs that they've been over-coached/lost confidence in the messaging but at the same time, that shouldn't stop them competing.
