get help from the AFL to get them outta a sitaution where their club was in meltdown, cos of their own cause,
now getting help from the AFL umpires to give them undeserved victories.

If Carlton had kicked accurately they would have won the game a lot earlier.

With 13:1 at one stage Freo can't blame bad kicking for their loss. We were by far the better team all day. We controlled the ball most of the game but managed to find ingenious ways to keep Freo in it via sloppy delivery or errant shots. That they didn't lay a single tackle in the last 14 minutes (? correct me if I'm wrong) is damning.

I did laugh at the inspiration of Freo's bad last quarters though - ours aren't much better.

I think they said something along the line of "it was very similar to what Dodd did to Gilbee last week, only with more force".

Before you have a cry and say 2 wrongs don't make a right, I agree they were both soft and they shouldn't be against the rules, but they are so the player should be smart enough to abide by it, O'Hailpen and Dodd weren't.


Also the reason freo have struggled the last few week is because there have been no options/leads when we bring the ball out of defence, resulting in huge pressure for the defence. Whether it has to do with fitness or not I don't know
