Bodes well for us that is was a north fan that posted it

It's public information, no different to those Corpus Christi newsletters.

If Gaff passes on the money because a North supporter posted something in the digital/social media age then I'll be driven to the Pine Barrens and swiftly despatched :D

Agreed. If it's available in the public domain then everyone needs to chill. Fair bump, play on.

The newsletter that has been posted was from 2015 but when the information first started a couple of months ago there were people saying they knew here/were on FB with her etc saying she'd just given her notice. Her Linkedin still shows her as being employed by Corpus Christi:
...
Realistically means one of three things: she was re-hired, she hasn't had another job since or she hates Linkedin.

#filthkeenaninvetigates

OFC she re-signed with Corpus. Just had Connors negotiating her contract for her in 2015. Plays bloody hardball that fella, knows how to use the media.

His kids go there I believe.

Gut feel is Gaff’s staying. This is pure friend of a friend stuff, absolutely, but his missus is looking for work at Perth private girls’ schools and supposedly his preference in private is to stay. Just having to decide between life altering money and staying.

Colour me poor but i hardly see 800k vs 1000k pa as the difference between life changing and not

Chris Judd agrees with that:

“It is very rare that an offer from one club is different enough for this to be the case and with this definition a move from $800,000 per year to $1.1 million a year is not material - even though $300,000 is a huge sum of money, post tax, it’s unlikely to provide a significant change to what life is like after football for the player.

I note that Judas didn't comment on let alone cite the circumstances of his own move
There are only two over-arching reasons why AFL footballer should change clubs and the players who have successfully made the switch fit into one of the two categories: Either there’s a problem with their living environment or there is a problem with their current club.
So I guess it was the drug saga afterall......
Even if he goes on to say this
Homesickness is one of the more understandable reasons why players move and there’s been plenty of successful examples where this has worked. Paddy Dangerfield moving back to live at Moggs Creek and playing for Geelong is the standout example of a successful trade for someone wanting to come home.

If the offer from North is correct at 1.2 and we are offering 800K over 6 years ? Obviously we can all do the math, you would almost be negligent to yourself by not taking the higher offer. Possibly his quandary ?
