McGinnity doing a great job on Balla.

In Paddy's defence, we got smashed in the middle and pretty much everywhere else. It would be nice if one of coaches gave a toss about the midfield.

Please dont take this as I think Paddy is great, he isnt. But it would nice if someone e.g. coaches look at the bigger picture.

Can I ask why? He such a non-impact player. Yeah, he is good but christ he just has no real impact on games. I'm lost to see the positives of him.

Pleased with Rosa's hardness at the footy.

Yeah he isn't a superstar, but for me he has improved this year.

Whereas others simply have not.

There was no excuses for that performance today. This Fremantle side was just as young and they've been playing an exciting brand of football all season. I've found myself enjoying watching Freo play all season, as I become increasingly frustrated of 3 years worth of utter tripe and efforts that could be matched by any one of us. There are very few positive signs to take out of these performances, as the coaching staff give us the same old bland, token response each week.

The lack of commitment from the players today was disgusting. I've never been more embarrassed to call myself a West Coast fan. Playing in a derby, needing a win to keep the first ever spoon away from this club, and the players simply gave up out there. Stopped chasing, not going into contests hard enough, not willing to put their bodies on the line or to run hard enough to make space. Basic skills errors being unable to hit targets by foot <30m under no pressure, missing players with handballs/handballing to a stationary player/under pressure, running in space and kicking to a contested situation rather than look for the pass. Having virtually no system in the forward line, or no-one being in positions to receive the ball. I cannot understand the system that this coaching staff is trying to implement.

I won't be renewing my membership based on this effort. Serious change needs to occur at this club and until that happens I'll be supporting the other WA team, and may well purchase a membership of theirs for next season.

i think someone needs to beat ballentyne around the head with embley..knock some sense into both of them?

If we're going to avoid the spoon we HAVE to win next week against Brisbane.

We deserve it.

Players must face the music.

I understand our recruiter has parkinsons - sad.

My question is how long has he suffered for.

Clearly we have recruited C grade players on mass - perhaps parkinsons is the reason.

It appears the club is now addressing this.

Fair enough, Biggie.

Well, its about time someone at the club, did something to stop the rot.

PMing my email details now.

Will snaffle your membership :thumbsu:

I think that those comments are all unwarranted and pretty nasty.

There were other positives to come out of the game.

The frenchman
Priddis works hard - some of his disposal was excellent
Shep improved
Rosa was serviceable and worked as you would expect
Strijk growing
Nic had a crack at times
Swift was better than I expected given his WAFL form. Looks more settled
Kennedy actually worked with little impact

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahha.

Worsfold should get some tough questions on his future surely.
He won't. He never does. Perth journos are afraid of asking tough questions lest they have their access to the club cutailed. Our journos have their balls cut off when it comes to dealing with the eagles.

And even if they did we will just get the usual rubbish resputed from Worsfold. He will avoid talking about the game at all and just try and suck up the interview time talking in generalities in a bland monotone about "learning curves and experiences" and take the focus off this game and try and put it on 3 years into the future. And he will definately avoid talking about the first quarter. To whatever extent he is forced to talk about todays game he will just talk about the goals we got in junk time after half time when the game was dead as though it actually mattered. He won't talk about why we couldn't compete when the game was actually alive. And he won't talk about individual players or talk in any specificity about exactly what his plan is to resurrect us and what he is going to do other than just sit and wait and hope a couple of the young players turn into match winners.

Same crap he always talks. I fully expect him to try and sell the same candy again. I don't think he has anything else in his bag of tricks. Also expect him to talk up the youth excuse about half a dozen times.

who of McGinity, EMac, Schofold, S. Sellwood, Ebert, Masten, etc are better than C grade?

The question is how long has decision making been impacted? This is not a charity event - it is competative and we have not contested well in our recruiting. All the above a fit a common style of play and selection , slow, not highly skilled or athletic, no agression and no X factor. Just plodders.

That the club is looking nationally for a list manager is not without time.
