It wouldn't have been so bad if we weren't so promising the last 3 weeks.

We're basically exactly the same as Port Adelaide this year; a yo-yo club. Best is really good, worst is absolutely abysmal.

Can't achieve anything like making finals because there's too much inconsistency. Can't look forward to a great draft pick because we've won too many games against the odds.

Guess for how the game will go:

Dominate second quarter and kick something like 3.7

Arm wrestle in the third and get to within a few goals.

Come with a run in the fourth but fall short.

Finals chances gone because of another inept start against poor opposition.
Saints 5.1 Dogs 3.4 after dominating. Pretty damned close ... are you Nostradamus?

Should be embarassed it takes your coach getting sacked for your players to pull their fingers out.
I've been been embarrassed by the saints for a long time but not today mate. The players didn't extend richos contract. They're just relieved he is gone.

Second worst game of the year, sacked coach effect kicking in hard.

Macrae hit two targets by hand that quarter, every other disposal has been off target.

English keeping us in it

St Kilda acting like heroes, getting in our faces. Where was this all season, you losers? Enjoy your five minutes of fame - you can't sack your coach every week.

Just for some context:

Saints have only scored more than 72 points six times out of sixteen games this year.

In those games they’ve scored 95 (Melb), 85 (GC), 80 (GC), 76 (Ess), 74 (Haw) and 73 (North).

They’ve just racked up 72 in a half against the dogs. Indefensible.
