On a positive note, I thought NLM added some much needed testicles to our side today. Love his aggression. If only we had a couple more of his temprement.

Also thought the Watson injury was the turning point. Shuey got loose after that and they were able to isolate that one link up player in quite a few passages. Jobe was best afield until that.

Tommy battled in the guts, and often won the tap, but how many times did he put it straight down an Eagles throat?

Myers tried hard, but his inability to execute under fatigue is a big worry.

Froggy is the one that needs a trip to Bendigo next week IMO (that is if we have enough fit players to replace him).

The Shuey v Heppell debate? Both terrific today, but both entirley different players who contributed to their sides in varying ways. Honestly cannot split them based on todays game.Although Dice shanked a few early and turned it over.... Maybe todays result will influence the Rising Star selectors.

Anyway, nuff said. Over it. Move On. Port Adelaide. Just the sort of game we are likely to drop.

I am going to order an old Indian Rain Dance to move the injury curse onto West Coast next year......

This is one thing that can be ironed out, so surely not a big worry. A preseason and he's right

Teams should just forfeit when playing West Coast in Perth and give their players a break. They're no chance when the umpires are as biased as they are.:thumbsdown::mad:

Maybe they are biased but I thought they were ok today. Yes, they made some shocking decisions but compared to the 2011 season they weren't standouts - for being shit.

I thought Essendon were very very good today, very good. An extra gun midfielder and we're premiership threats.

I've moved on.

We got r*ped, they handed the Eagles the momentum and we capitulated due to umpires and injuries.

Thought it was a pretty even match, which is a win from my point of view given it was their home game.

Bring on next week and finals.

I don't care what you Eagle supporting ***** say, you booed an injured player. That is lower than scum, don't pretend you were doing anything different, because if you were booing the umps then **** me, an entire day of getting your ***** sucked not enough for you?

Entire respect I had for your club is now gone, you are all pathetic bogan scum. May you get ****ing nothing from the umps when you play Collingwood, and if you cop an injury, I hope the crowd boo them off.

Pricks.

Can someone post the incident so we can all see how much louder the booing got as Watson approached the bench.

The booing increased when the replay was being shown on the big screen, and as Reimers was lining up for goal. The crowd were not booing Watson.

Watson was already off the ground when Riemers was handed the ball.

You could hear the booing change each time the replay was shown.

The booing went up by about 40% as Watson approached the bench.

Plenty were booing Watson.

Where you sitting at Subi today?

What the hell? How does that prove anything?

It proves they were booing the decision and not Watson.

Simply wrong to think Watson was booed off.

was at the ground. crowd booed the decision. Watson was ushered off and got applause. replay shown resulting in more boos. reimers lines up and crowd tried to put him off.

Obvious to anyone who was actually at the ground

was a lot happening on the field at the time Jobe was being assisted off so a bit of wrong thinking going on around here..

Plenty of Essendon supporters at the ground were of the opinion that he was booed off.

Didn't a West Coast supporter that was at the game also say he was booed off?

Subi's not a small ground, but I highly doubt there was booing directed at Jobe. It is pretty customary for us one-eyed supporters to boo when opposition players have set shots and to boo when a replay on the big screen doesn't conclusively prove that a decision against us was correct.

I've never heard of a crowd in Subi booing off a concussed player, ever.
