Well, it's game day.

Unfortunately this is the first game for several years that I will not get to see live - flying up to the Sunshine Coast for work - should get to see most of the first half in Qantas Club and we should have the game in the bag by then and will have to catch the rest on replay.

Margin predictions? - I reckon about 80 points.

I'm interested to see what the deal is with the Waters injury. Really hope he's ok.

First game in Sydney for two years, really looking forward to it.

I think about 75 points maybe, think the Eagles will be a bit inefficient despite being on top nearly all day. Dalziell to lead to the possessions tally... Hopefully someone can kick a huge bag for us, don't really care who.

I am going to say a touch under 100, 95 points. But, if the 22 play to their best and GWS play even worse than usual, we could win by 20 goals.

its been 3 weeks of ordinary footy for mine,given the teams weve played..a quirky start to the season...cant wait for the hawks match to get a litmus test on where we're really at...and see some good footy.

Mostly sunny, 15-26 degrees, currently around 22. The ground is so small i just don't see bags out there for jk or lynchy. Hopefully jk comes back with the Coleman locked up but whatever. I reckon we'll get up by 60-75, can't see us smashing them more than that given it's the easiest ground to choke up.

ditto. This years Eagles team seems like it has a bit more edge compared to last years, so even though we only beat Gold Coast at home by about 20 points in 2011, i think the 2012 Eagles team will cream the Giants and not take the foot off the accelerator until the final 5 minutes of the 4th quarter.

Having said that though, a blowout over 100 points im not sure will happen with the players we are resting.

Good luck everyone, Go Eagles, Also I hope Mitch Brown plays well, this is his opportunity to shine and show his capable to take over the reins of Darren Glass position when he retires.

If he fails today I think it will be the end of him at the Eagles and we will sort someone else for that CHB role.
