Nah only chickens and dogs, I share farm about 20 acres, this season we had a canola crop. I generally only plant Australian natives and specifically low rainfall sa and wa species that grown on limestone soils.
You sound li like busy brever.

I would love to have have some land and cows , piggy etc but If I can't look after them would shite me.
I guess about ten ish years ago everyone in my area wanted land and prices go though the roof.
I do like where we are, really quiet ...but busy 5 mins away.

Weeds are the only thing that is a problem on my property and takes up the most time, I try and plant things that are low maintenance.

Was looking at pressure washer cleaners I don't know what's good or not.
Is the 500$ worth the price tag is the one a little more better again?
is the 250$ better bang for buck?
Are the extra bits you get like the srcubber for the ground any good?

Really unsure.

i have a Karcher k4 and has a lot of pressure, it blows dirt away, it came with a surface cleaner, tried it for the first time last weekend and saved me tonnes of time cleaning the paths and under the pergola

I have an old karcher and it’s great too, bought the rotating tile cleaner and it’s awesome, makes cleaning easier. That attachment isn’t as good for dirty pavers as it can leave streaks but it’s good for roller doors and caravans.

The one cactus 🌵 I said was a monkey tail ...I think is a peanut cactus .
Sorry MP_ that's why yours looks different...different varieties...silly me.
All good, was wondering why mine looked so much different. This is a monkey tail cactus (pic is not of mine) IMG_5420.jpeg

I got lots of cactus I don't know all the types I have .
Peanut, monkey tail,golden torch,blue torch.san Pedro...one with 3 inch spikes ouchie...a bald one.
If I look though the Interwebs I could see the ones I have.
When I had my own garden, I found this site helpful to narrow down what I had:

Every autumn I prune my loquat tree to almost nothing then every spring it bounces back to about 2.5 m tall with a heap of fruit. No watering, no fertiliser, no pesticides. The birds get a few but leave me with plenty. The fruit are like a cross between an nectarine and a grape. They are a good source of vitamins A and C, fibre, and antioxidants.

Brought new hose , new hose reel , new brass hose fittings ...
Garden got a good water before the hot weather tomorrow.
What brand are your hose fittings, I’m thinking of asking for hose link ones for Xmas as I always use cheap fittings which break easily.

Not sure how this munted looking mango tree is holding fruit but it is. Bigger than the lot I got last year (larger pot has helped) but lost a few fruit with the brown spot at the stem. Should know as a landscaper what it is but fruit trees are a whole other ball game. Thinking next year I'll get out a fungicide and do a preventative spray as the fruit starts to set.

Big tree in the pool area has about 12 that have stuck, similar problem with losing a few fruit as the potted one. Never really had to worry about them living in Port Hedland, they'd just fruit like a bastard and you'd have more than you could ever deal with.

Does anybody have any tips?

That sucks! One reason why i just went with Wintergreen when redoing my turf as I just knew I'd end up with it contaminating it if I went with Buff.

Only way really is to nuke the affected area with Roundup as I dont beleive there is a selective herbicide that kills Couch and not Buffalo. If its patchy then you could 'paint' it (buff will die as well but will grow back) otherwise you can either go 'oh well, couch lives here now' or spray it out and replace with new turf once you are sure the couch wont be back.

Different angle, but I managed to salvage it, and boy oh boy am I glad. It looks elite
