Yep I'll eat my words on that, if he can perform again against Geelong (assuming he is selected) on Friday night he should get a sub spot or bench spot in Round 1.

I still stand by my comment for the other 3. 1x stand out performance doesnt guarantee a round 1 game in the H+A.

couldn't agree more nova. good thing about hall is he has a good frame now and a few of those natural skills you cant teach guys. big question (barring injury) is being able to maintain consistency. watch this space.

I really want to put Caddy in both my DT & SC teams as he is going to be a major cash cow if he can overcome these bloody niggly injuries he picks up... we all know the kid can score extremely quickly when he has a purple patch, very similar to Lenny Hayes as far as the speed he can rack up the points.

Only problem is he surely must only be 50/50 for the opening round even with the additional Arizona trip and depending on how quickly he can get his match fitness up, might not make best 22 until after the first few rounds...?

Is Bock expected to move back into defense after his suspension?

He'll be changing back and forth I think, depending on where he is needed for the day. If guys like Buddy are running amock, we'll put him in defence. If not, he'll be up forward.

I would certainly advise against getting him in your DT, that's for sure. Very unpredictable.

Dudes, what is the status of Horsely? Dont think he has played NAB cup so far? Injured?

Heard that he's having fitness issues, but I can't confirm that. He's a rookie, and at this stage I would be surprised to see him elevated. Not on the injury list.

Hi guys I have a few Gold Coast Players in my Supercoach team

What can you tell me about the following players and how they are tracking, as well as likely scores:

1. Harley Bennell

2. Josh Caddy

3. Daniel Gorringe

4. Maverick Weller

5. Dion Prestia

6. Of Course Ablett

I have a few players in with the theory that their prices will rise due to them becoming second year players.

if we have a bad game, there's a chance most of those guys will score fairly average. i'd recommend cutting a few.

ablett, obviously a good choice.

bennell, caddy & prestia have the chance of playing fairly well this year. might average around 70ish, but they'll play a fair few games.

gorringe will probably still be 3rd in line behind fraser this year, but he's bulked up this preseason and will be pushing for a regular spot in the team.

weller should play a fair few games, and i see him improving on last year, but i'm not sure his fantasy scores will reflect this.

if they all play games (besides ablett), they will rise in price though.

Yes. Definitely. He would have to get injured this week to not be in it as far as I'm concerned.

Nice thanks for that, well he's straight back in my team if that's the case... I assume you guys all have big hopes for Caddy this year. Looks all class and is nestled very comfortably into my midfield at the minute...

What sort of a preseason has Caddy had? Was that his first gallop last weekend? Half a game against GWS is not a lot to go on. I assume we will see more of him this weekend against our boys.

Half a game that scored 60 DT points. Looked great at the end of last year, and as a top 10 pick from last year, really should be looking to step up this year. Essendon weren't touching themselves over him for no reason!

He'll play every game this year if fit. You're correct, it was his first hit-out against GWS and I would imagine he will play this week against the Swans. Went very well for his first hit-out. Cannot wait to see him playing regular game time.

Had a fantastic pre-season until mid-January where he broke down for a month. After he recovered, he hit up Arizona for 14 days and now looks to be in amazing shape. Excited to see how he'll go this week.

Caddy does look set for an awesome season... Yes he is going to be a decent cash cow... Possible rising star material... But will he play every game if fit this season... No. You must look at Caddy as this being his first season. Last year was a right off for him, hardly no Footy, couldn't train, etc. Even this pre-season he has been injured for a month.

He will play as many games as the club thinks his body can cope with. Just as the club did with Swallow, Smith last season. expect him to be rested/rotated for a week or 2 regularly during the season. He is too valuable to the club to burn out playing 22 games this season.

There is also the possibility he may be our super-sub bunny for the first few rounds until his match fitness is up.

But I still have him in my SC/DT. He will mske good $$$ to upgrade with. He and Gaz are my only Suns players.

I do have him, yes.

And GCSuns is correct. By 'every game', I meant that he'll probably be around the 18-20 mark given that he'll need a rest at some point. Assuming he has an injury free season of course.

He will certainly play enough to net you the cash though. He may even turn into a genuine 4th or 5th mid option, much like D. Swallow last year.
