Any of the Gisborne boys shed some light on the top performers in the Mc grand final. Hopefully Harmon made runs, he deserves it after the season he has put in.
A full scorecard would be great if someone had it.

Second hand info here mate, so don't quote me. "Rowdy" Sankey took 5 for bugger all in the Marsh's innings and I believe that Harmon was not out went they called a halt to play

Hey Night-cat - just goes to show its not the size of the dog in the fight that counts . Well done Gissy.

Barker is all mouth, from what a mate tells me he wouldnt survive on turf. But interesting to see them knock off Romsey "the one day specialists".
My tips-
Flag - Gisborne
Shock- Woodend and United miss finals.
Spoon - Romsey (if Rupertswood can beat them)

good to see the boys from diggers rest H grade bat out the overs.
what was a long day on saturday, not making many runs the boys hold their innings well to put another 70 runs on tha board on sun day to post a score of 200...
the lads are pumped and looking for a big result this saturday.
"go the burra"

So the Mac's and D's went to Gissie, the Burra have batted a day and a half for 200 in H grade, any other results from the weekend, completed or interim?

Definately a fine match and well and truely in the balance. makes for a very interesting day with the Cats needing 143 from 69.3 overs with 9 wickets in hand to win. It has been great to watch and has been a game of top sportsmanship between the two sides ,as it has been on the previous 3 times they have played this year. All the best to both sides.

GO CATS!!!!!!!!!!!

It's going to be a long long time
Till the GDCA brings me round again to find
Dropping Harmon won't get Bacchus Marsh home
Oh no no no I'm a rocket man
Rocket man, loving myself up here alone

Not far off the ball hey, might place some early odds for the 2009/10 cricket season. Still a long way off but i predict a further changing of the guard.

Gisborne - $2.20 (Harmon, good luck against the Ablett of the comp)
United - $5.50 (Young guns coming through- lack a quick?)
Rupertswood - $8.50 (Window opening up - lack a run maker?)
Marsh - $13.00 (Dominace over- players jumping, can they fill the void?)
Riddell - 16.00 (Wadden is on = Riddell is on, one man side)
Woodend/Romsey - $29.00 (Lack numbers, lack quality)
Macedon - $39.00 (Should be in B grade)

Marsh in a bit of trouble, local papers report the loss of some big names! All match winners with the exception of "The Rocket Man". Their dominance is now over and they join the rest of the pack chasing Harmon and his XI.
Is anyone else leaving or joining clubs that would impact on these odds???

The only ones i can think of is maybe Grey (United), he has been a season by season prospect.

Also Wadden, as long as he plays they are a chance.

Have a good footy season.

Watch your mouth! We are losing one of the finest players the association has ever seen, right up there with Mr Michael Barker and Mr Jack Code

Can I get odds on Rob Belcher to make a total of 100 runs for next season and Chris Axton to win the Kevin Sullivan with his hard hitting and bowling ''darts''

Rob Belcher to make a total of 100 runs for next season $350
Rob Belcher to make over 100 runs next season $1.09

Chris Axton to win the K Sullivan Medal $85

I wouldnt mind getting in on some of that action $$$$

B grade should make it a lot easier for the 2 of em.

I think they still might be in McIntyre Cup Omni. With the Marsh and the onions making the GF, surely BT and the disputes committee will not promote a team that finished 3rd in B Grade, especially after the stuff up of playing an un-qualified player in the semi?

The Marsh surely can't field two teams in the top fight can they? The Macedon boys stay up next season.

Hear whisper that the disputes committe have their hands full at the moment with the report of one K. Barker in the Marsh vs. Rupo semi. Anyone from the Marsh or Rupo care to shed some light on that?

Was fully aware of MCC stroke of good fortune pal, but it still wont affect where those 2 under achievers should be playing in 2010, given their 09 form !

Not much respect here for the faces of the macedon cricket club???

Also keep your eyes out for Zackary 'Looseness' Boyer to be the number 1 bat in the Woodend line up next year. Back from a 2 year stint at Essendon, a player who made the final 24 for Vic U/17. Quality bat, who could make a lot of big numbers. Finest Leg Glance you could see!

I thought Zackary Boyer was going to have a little stint to help Tylden Tigers get a flag and rise up in the divisions???

New odds for the 2009/10 season

Gisborne $2.00
United $6.00
Rupertswood $7.80
Marsh 15.00
Riddell 15.50
Woodend 18.00
Romsey 35.00
Macedon 50.00

Special bet - Tylden paying $12.00 for the E grade flag. However the talk is they are to busy chasing trophies in H grade.

Id almost put 1000 dollars on Tylden to win the E grade flag at those odds.
