Belmont appear to be raiding the coffers of Sth Barwons U18 side. A few youngsters cannot forsee a game anytime soon for the Swans, since the re-introdution of retiree's for the finals, and have had some money (not a great deal) dangled in front of them to join the Lions. Spider?
I hear David King from St Joeys has been approached by Belmont as well. Has a few mates in Murphy and Forbes there.

I too heard the gilham rumours.Would be good for the club.handy inclusion.Melville is a very good player.it's harder to be good in a terrible side because you must win the ball yourself. Very easy to get the pill in the better teams, but you would know that being the football brain you must be to get on here and slag blokes off who have a dip for thier club. As for the older blokes retiring,i watch a lot of werribee games, Chugg and Hardingham would be 30ish each, chugg is the obvious one that will play for another 5 years from the look of him.very fit. Hards not so sure big bodies slow quicker. I also heard that Burke will go around again which is good because he is one of the best at this level from what i saw.Any players coming or going from centrals, looking forward to watching the new recruits next winter
