East are going to announce a couple of big signings in the next few weeks;)

What do people think about Bell Post Hill's chances in the future? I personally think they've missed the boat and will dramatically fall away over the next few seasons.

Finally on Corio they play fantastic home and away footy but the chip and charge game they play is not suited to the bigger grounds. Have a look who has beaten them in finals and you will note they had one, maybe two key forwards and they played direct footy.

We're talking footy now boss..

Fact is Lewis is just a mangy old dog who bags teammates when they dont kick to him or they put it on the full. Then himself has a shot from the boundary or misses the lot. His old man is just as bad. In the paper, those comments he made were as funny as watching boof play.

I didn't (a) mention anything about the GF or (b) point the finger at anyone so I don't know where this comes from. What I asked was did anyone know the wash-up from the report? My other commenst refered to the status of BPH which someone else has also added and the big game performance of Corio. If that is insensitive I apologise but I think you have drawn a long bow.

Settle grettle, i didnt say he hadnt spoken to gilo about playing, just saying gilo wont be coaching centrals but rumour has it gilo may be coaching some where else in werribee......

He has signed 2 play at centrals. Has a new job and will not get time 2 coach

why should anyone talk of saturday when you wrecked your own party and then come on a point fingers at others.
and yes the actions of last week at YOUR club is damaging to every one in the GDFL.

Champ no one other than your good self has, or is talking about the events of last Saturday so maybe you need to check what you are typing.
 
From wat I herd gilham was coaching werribee vfa 2s side so I would be very suprised to see him playing at centrals. If Job works out Billy will play at sth but if it doesn't he will stay at corio

You talked about the game and how dominant east was and how players poor discipline cost BPH and he claims it as being shallow comment and insensitive.:eek:

Get a life f*&kwit. Stop trying to use what happened as an excuse to cause a stir on here. It's a footy forum, not lets hear your opinion about the East Geelong Football Club.
Would you like us to invent a time machine & go back & change what happened?
Whats happened has happened & no one gives a flying f*&k on your opinion on the matter. Stop trying to involve yourself & make out like it's affected you. I, along with many other people on here, either knew Nathan or witnessed the aftermath of the event. You show some respect & stop trying to start a mud slinging contest.

Well put lloyd... tragic events cannot be changed. We need to learn from them and support each other thru that. What better way to help people move on than to involve ourselves in the mire of rumour that is the post season. Let us not lose sight of the fact that a life has been lost...THAT is the pure tragedy. To blame the East footy club or indeed the people that support the club on here, is an out and out disgrace and achieves nothing...

I think there maybe a few teams who turnover personal next year.

Question marks hang over the following players of clubs in the top 5:

East: M O'leary, Hoey, Prymke (heading home).

BPH: N Lewis, May, Cavka, Farrar, Venner, Dckson, all mid 30's

Thomson: Hyland, Harriot, Maheras, Wallace (gone), Gardiner (never discount), Peacock, Menzies.

Bannockburn: Riccardi, Lewis, Bliss (?) Kolleger,

Werribee: to be least affected, Chugg, Hardingham slowing up, Bourke ?

Some good names among those listed? Thoughts??
