shaun oneil from newcombe off to thomson next season a young half forward better toughen up for gdfl though ducks the head in marking contest but a good player left out on his own.

I believe winch has a new assistant coach but not sure where from, ballarat or something. Also has a CHB and few running types which have just jumped on the gravy train. Hey, no one got back to me about the winch netballers. Are they really that good or is everyone talkin' shite? It's been a long while for Mr. Pickles and he's ready for a big year.......:p Is Fop's playing or just coaching Nth Geelong?? Hopefully just coaches, he'd still kick 50 coming out of the square

You are correct in thining Winch have some of the best netballers in the GD. Pretty sure they finished top 3 in A grade but wouldn't have a clue as to who won it in the end.

Rod Hutchinson (North Shore) will sign with Corio tomorrow night. A good get for the devils and another blow to the struggling North Shore.

Correct Rod signed last night you must be in the know at the devils den, there might be a few more signings from our neighbors soon aswell. If you have a look at nth seniors last year around 10 of them all played there junior footy at corio, so it would be nice to get a few of them back home.

Have heard that Winchelsea have meet the coach day this Sunday,supposed to be unveiling new recruits as well. Will be interesting to see if it's hype or hope their pining their year on... so if you weren't invited either at least now you know it's on

I believe their new asst. coach is Adam Coles who I've been told is as hard as they come. They have a CHB and 2 blokes from corio. Also 2 from
Smitty's (coach) old club bacchus marsh. As for the meet the coach day, just an excuse to get pissed I reckon. Knowing smitty though, he'll make at least 8 goals difference per game. Spotted him out a few times bustin' the lungs and the knee looked micky mouse.That only puts them 8 goals down from there. Rumor has it a few of the blokes who walked out last year might be making a return to the blues den. Time will tell. As much as I love the bloke I still pick them to finish last. Close behind g/west or belmont who will take a huge dive. Sorry boys :(

just heard tonight that rocket has decided to stay at north shore, lucky break for the blue and gold, is an underrated player in the gfl, hopefully now no one else decides to leave

can someone tell me, if there is any truth to the rumour, that corio didn't pay some their players this year, apparently their big recruits got paid, but the others missed out?
 
This talk of adam coles!!!! is this the adam coles from maldon/trentham? if so this bloke would have to be the biggest wanka of all time. Talks himself up as a star every year to a new club but he is just no good. Struggled to play 1nes at trentham which would be one of the worst teams in country football. If its the same bloke he is an absolute joke. Once nominated himself for the draft while he was playing twos for a side in ballarat. Hope its a different bloke for your teams sake.

we have already answered this question months ago, every player was paid before the due date it said on there contract, it doesnt matter if there on $50 a game or $200 they get paid when they ask for it. ie every week, fortnightly or end of season. There is one thing we pride ourselves on its if someone makes a committment to our club we make a committment to them.

haha adam coles!!!! used to say he got drafted by carlton at school because he wore the jacket. haha thats funny cant wait to tell every1 at jds 2nite

all i know is his name. not sure if it's the same bloke. didn't ask where he's from or anything. probably the same chap. As for Belmont, good luck to them, wasn't meaning to put down the club. I don't know enough about the competition. Sorry fat man. I might come down sundy for my free frothie though. Coopers pale ale. cheers

I wasn't inferring you were having a crack, Kamal. Rumors always run rife about the club and I was just putting them to bed before they got anywhere. Hunt me down and I'll buy you one if you are there Sunday:thumbsu:
