Will post what I heard and I will make it clear that I have no doubt a tiny bit may be true, a little will be half true and just about all of it bull sh!t.

I was told that Timmy Gardiner gave Barry O'Toole a tap at the start of the game as their is no love lost between the two of them. A little later on Barry and Ricky returned the favour to Tim but when they did it they both got reported. Wasn't said if they were both reported in the one incident or two seperate ones. Obviously Thomson went on to win the game but as a result of what happened on the ground there was some angry Corio supporters/players one of which who has some motorbike friends. Was told that they were called to the ground and that the Thomson boys had trouble getting out of the ground.

No doubt there will be different variations to the story but that was what I was told. Most importantly for Corio....were Ricky and Barry reported and are Corio going to lose their points for the first 2 games from Mick Turner playing?
was at the game and i find it hard to believe that tim would bother with that sort of shit. its not the kind of thing he would worry about, hes there for the footy not little mind games. i'm sure baz and nolan were both reported but rick is in the clear. the thomy boys usually go into the opposition rooms after the game for a pot before they leave so the story u have reported is fulse about thomy taking off early.

Thanks for helping to start to clear that up. I thought that there would be some truth to some of the things that happened on the ground but knew the stuff off the ground would be crap.

Drago, have heard that this has been sorted out on the quiet between the GDFL and GFL. Dont know what that means but thats what I have heard.

Dukes have attached a previous post so dont know what is happening but from what I heard Saturday there will be no action from the league on this which I struggle to understand as the rules are black and white.

Wouldn't be a good start of they were zero and 4 after all the recruiting that has gone on.

i have played with thomson and watched many senior games , won the tim gardnar medal and to his credit he is a very good player but not a "saint" he does do certain things to start up a brawl like " Raising of elbows going into a pack " high tackling. But with the Temper of Ricky & Barry otools u wouldnt wanna mess around with them in a dark ally. but no thomson stayed for the pot after the game and went back to there respected club rooms after game no trouble with anything like bikey gangs

Ive heard different reports on whats going on just depending on which day it is. Surely if it is a breach of the rules the committee from East and Bell Post Hill would be jumping up and down and taking it further with the GDFL. Can anyone associated with either of those clubs committees shed any light on whats happening?

Interesting to see Leigh Fuller amongst the goals for Banno. His pretty handy pick up as he played a few senior matches at Joeys before going to WA a few years back. Can anyone from Banno inform me on his progress so far.

i'll tell you one thing. with two wins through head counts in 3 seasons i'd put my house on it that east would have examined every avenue with this one. still can;t believe they stole our 4 points 3 years ago when there was not 1 second of game played with an extra man. not to mention their requests for a grand final rematch after last year....just a real unsportsman like culture.

u obviously dont watch the game to close and have not played along side the bloke. he plays it hard&fare and has the respect of every opposition player in the league. his record speaks for itself, he is not one for starting any shit on the ground or off it but is the 1st one in to help a mate and fly the flag.

As I have said champ the club has left it up to the league and if they choose not to action it then thats up to them but my personal view (and not the clubs) is that they need to be seen to be doing something as if they let it go without comment it sets a bad precedent for others to follow.

In regard to the head counts the rules are the rules so dont blame the club that uses them rather make sure your own house is in order and your club is educated on what they can and cant do. Everyone kniows that you cant replace a player that is yellow/red carded yet that is what happened in both cases. Werribee can be forgiven for getting it wrong but your mob should have known better given the example that Werribee gave you.

Finally in regard to your last point are you making this up or what? Some drunk may have said this at the pub on the Sunday after the game but thats about it.

Given your postings to date (slagging off Corio/the Northern Suburbs, having a crack at Thomson, etc) I think it might be time for you to retire from the keyboard.

Obviously just about all the rumours from Corio on Saturday was rubbish as I see Barry OToole was reported for abusing an umpire only and it was Nolan reported for striking. Amazes me why people make up this crap.

Well mate Just letting you now the were a few thomson seniors players stay back at the rooms. One of the coach rules is all seniors plays must go in for one drink. so get your facts right please

i know corio were very happy with the number of thomson players that stayed back for a beer after the game saturday, i wouldve thought there had to be atleast 20 thomson people there.

I heard that two North Geelong players were carried off the ground with what appeared to be serious injuries on the weekend. One of the two was supposed to be young Hutchinson with another knee injury. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

load off crap about the motorbike guys there not associated with our club anyway and there was no incidents at all. Corio were not in the wrong with mick turner it was gfl as they had him regestered as Mick turner and his name is michael turner so when his clearance form went in as michael turner gfl records for him dont excist cause north shore and barwon heads both had him registered wrong and now the gfl have combined mick and michael turner as won so it doesnt happen again. I hope thart clears things up for everyone

ok mate it appears you need to check your facts. the inver head count took place a season before the werribee head count so how were we given an example. secondly we were under the impression it was a blood rule after one of your players who will remain disclosed belted our bloke around the ears. there was not a second of play with 19 men and to actually have the nerve to call a head count was embarrassing on your behalf. after the game you then had the nerve to come into our rooms and say there would be no more action as we won fair and square only to lodge a claim on the 4 points that night.

as for my mate in the pub.....this was one of many poor suggestions that were mentioned at the leauge deligates meeting in the pre-season. i think the other suggestion was for a split premiership.

also find me a posting where i have bagged corio or the northern suburbs. we have a great relationship with the devs as we played a praccy match with the guys and they were very hospitable post match.

stop posting drago as you're only embarrassing yourself.

Just out of interest is the Mick Turner you're are referring to the same Mick Turner that palyed for Bannockburn back in about 2000?
If it is the same Turner then he would be old enough to be most GDFL footballer's grandad. God help the Devils if he is holding up the defence in 2008.

Am pretty certain he came down to the club a couple of weeks ago, he played one game in the twos and from all reports smashed werribee, and was put straight up into the ones. Played very well, and adds another quality midfielder too the tigers team.

After everyones predictions last week of the end of season top 5 where knowone had bannock in their finals, is anyone thinking they should change it after there performance on the weekend?

Hutchy is ok - rolled an ankle,
Dragicevic's knee - not sure how serious
