With mixed results in all games this season and a few upset results, are the predicted "top" teams at full strength? Are any teams still recruiting?

East Belmont - Is Tate still playing?
BPH - When is the captain playing? Think its hemmen?
Inver - Big Lewis?
Bannock - Are the Gibbs boys both there?
Thomson - Is Babb getting a game?
East G - Is Skroba unfit or just not interested? S.Oleary?

A few big games this week, the league is really drawing attention for close and exciting games,

chris hemley doesnt play for bph he just coaches
 
Nah, wasnt talking about him but did hear Hemley will play second half of year, not sure how true. This time last year we were only looking at round 1 results, just thought a few clubs must have a few delayed starters, if so who?

OK big tatey's in Townsville and playing with Curra Swans, but is rumoured to be coming home before June deadline... they are missing Canavan whose having a year off just as much

Hemley I heard had retired... his body has gone through a lot... happy to be corrected on the retirement thing...

The Gibbs'- Dan played rounds three and four in the one's after missing one and two with injury I believe... No sign of Dave in two;s or one's

Jeremy Babb suffered a broken nose in round three from memory and missed against Corio, but had been in the one's at Thommy

I'm certain Skrobba;s interested... but maybe carrying a groin or similar... Sean O'Leary's again having hamstring trouble... not sure when he''ll return

Babbsy did break his nose against Nth Geelong, but only missed the Corio game due to work commitments, he also missed the Inverleigh game due to work commitments.

yep same one, his definately not the worst player out there for us at the moment but in saying that when our full list is out there i think mick might be starting at 12 oclock. we are having a shocking run with injuries at the moment but we are definately not using that as an excuse for the loses as we have great depth at the club, on the day inverlie and thomson were better sides.
 
Belmont v North Geelong. who's gonna win folks? both teams have been shaky. i'm gonna go with belmont because they are at home and will want to bounce back after last weeks aberration

this will be a good game but i can tell u now north are very hungry for another win, if we kick straight we will win by 5 goals or even more

I am certain that belmont will try to bounce back, but after watching them last week I would be very suprised if they were able to beat north. They only kicked one goal and am pretty certain that was from two down the field free kicks so cant se them kicking a winning score.

thomson great babbalicious will be back this week. work commitments stuff him around big time.
 
yeah look mate that sounds like a good win i would definetly be happy with that but i expect it to be a bit closer then that

your thoughts

hutch went up 4 a screamer and it didnt quite pay off... all that happened was he got a korked quad... draca got stretched off with wat seemed 2 b a pretty bad knee injury.. but has just done some damage to the scar tissue.. alsop was also carried off with a big fist to the nose.. draca wasnt seen 4 the rest of the day but alsop and hutch both returned to play the game out...

I think anakie will be too strong for the hawks, the hawks have come along way but are still developing, and this year would be a huge suprise if they make the finals. Wheras Anakie have to win this one to prove they are capable of pushing to play finals.

Yeah I believe you about Babbs but not sure booley will play 1st when he hasn't got in the 2's yet thommyboy. I bet bet Ando will play senoirs this before Booley. pleanty of young kids like Deano or the new guy who play Back Flank in the 2 last week B.Towan
 
babbs missing out yes grant booley are u serious haha until the coach says on game day again like he always does sorry mate someone else is playing always happens at thomson....especialy with robbie burn sticking his nose around if thats the story. Stiney is doing a good job i think with coaching but glen walace has only braught some extar training to the side and what i have been told its killing alot of players with the reserve side getting punished 2 weeks ago because the senior side cant get there act together. just my opinion Thomson need to stop playing favorites to some players and when there form is down ____n drop them and let someone else come up even if they lose the game it will show the senior players or who think they are , pick there act up
