3 recent flags but the Cats are nearly as broke as Brisbane. Why?

How is that a melt?
You need to get out more Nokia Mc Stab Man, talk to people, real people.
Your whole BF persona has taken over you like a villain from a Spiderman movie.

But please don't stab anyone. Please.
You've been melting ever since that fateful day I proved Geelong's dynasty far superior to any other... You even followed me here to continue the sulking you melting parrot. :thumbsu:

You have a very vivid imagination I will give you that

Dynasty? Cats were never good enough to go back to back let alone a 3peat.
There was no Geelong dynasty it failed.
I was surprised too when I crunched the numbers... Amazing how a team who never went back to back are still superior to two who 3 peated. We've been through this before though, it's why you're over this neck of the woods, sulking.

Geelong and the Hawks are very similar clubs.
Amongst the smallest in the comp when they're not having premiership success, but both have very, very insecure fans who want to their clubs to be seen as big clubs.
Try to be a bit more like Bulldogs and Kangas fans: Know your place.
Be proud that you have achieved success despite your minnow status :thumbsu:

Dude, you support a football club that actively worked to bring Jake Melksham into their side.

Went out and pursued Jake Melksham.

Just let that sink in.

Melksham pre-drugs saga was tracking along okay. The theory is that Essendrug ruined him. It's not a bad theory to be fair.

I'll reserve final judgement on how calamitous a signing it is til next season. If it comes off, Goody is a genius.

You deluded yourself into thinking Geelong are a big club when you make a multi million dollar loss, while we turn profits.

Like I said, this is poor.

You're club's "profit" is on the back of an AFL - Handout

Geelong is investing for its future.

Something that Norf would know nothing about.

On top of this - Geelong paid Tax to the AFL to help keep clubs like Norf alive.

A simple thank you would suffice.

Elite Master, its true that Geelong is playing a dangerous game by investing everything into a stadium it will rarely if ever fill but that's hardly grounds for comparing it with Norf.

I'll admit to being massively #concerned that Geelong has become a burden on the Victorian taxpayer and that the club's financial prospects are grim, but that pales in comparison to Norf's disgusting track record of shamelessly surviving on AFL handouts for decades. Any talk of Norf profits are not to be taken seriously since they only exist because the club loots more from the AFL Equalization Fund than almost anyone else on a yearly basis.

Geelong may be headed down the road to financial ruin but at least they managed to pay $300k in AFL wealth tax this year, a disproportionate amount of which will be headed straight into Norf's welcoming coffers. As a supporter of the AFL's biggest charity case you have no right to point the finger at Geelong.

You act as though Geelong are bigger than what they actually are, this multi million dollar loss just further certifies you are not and never will be despite the some what recent success you've endured. No matter how you spin it you're financial results for 2015 are poor which was my main point.

Dude, the loss was around 1.4m of which 300k was used to prop up clubs like yours :thumbsu:

We will always be one of the smallest clubs, but we are stable for now and have been for a little while. I'm not claiming we are bigger or better than Geelong, I was just notching down a peg to certain arrogant Cat flogs that think they belong with the big boys like Hawforn or Collingwood which couldn't be further from the truth.
