Thought exactly the same thing. Bit of a chance considering he gets back most summers to have a hit of cricket. Surely would consider GFL first. North Shore?

yer buddah spot on mate bell post hill is a shambles... grgic had enough of the culture down there and players not happy with him trying to change it last year
tried to sign big names from the granny holzfiend pyle jovanovic all certain to leave.. big chance with holzfiend gone for young matt reid to step into the fold after no footy last year

It all depends on $$$, he could get plenty anywhere don't think Bannockburn have the coin. Brandon Dawber (team of the decade ruckman) will follow Dan Gibbs to Anakie.

Inverliegh will lose a few,
Lewis retired, Trotter to East, Popovski gone, Kelly GFL, Hickleton?? not signed. But looks like they might get Muir back. May head backwards after a couple of promising years, im sure to the above teams delight.

this would have to be the biggest load of shit ive ever read on here. i heard anakie have signed Ben Cousins, Matthew Lloyd to Winch also James Hird is gonna coach blue west he has quit as essendon coach already, all these are about a credible as Trotter to East. y would anyone in there right mind go to east at the moment there a team of individuals and there not gonna go anywhere while it is like that

Very interesting appointment of the Corio coach - Mark McDowell.

I am very surprised he hasnt coached for 10 years and when he last did at Ammos he did a very average job. With such a young list as they have said i would have thought a playing coach may have been a better option. I think this is a bad move for Corio i think they could have done better. But good luck anyway, what would i know.

not sure if there are any more departures but from talking to a few guys that also play cricket there, it doesnt sound like they can get any new players to put pen to paper. Doubts over weather the coach is commited to winning this season, he doesnt seem to be very active in the recruiting side of things.

Rumour i have heard from a pretty reliable source is that the local Torquay Tattslotto owner (Belmont Coach) has been in talks with several Torquay players including Bill Christie, Dave McLeish, Troy Bird and Adam Bird! Could be just what the doctor ordered down a Winter Res....

Former Queenscliff captain, Belmont coach, St albans and Inverleigh player Matt Murphey has signed at Blue West, 5 clubs in 5 years.....is that a record???

another terrible rumor! hard to believe since he has trained at inverleigh so far in the pre season and has re-signed there at the end of the season.
