I don't see the comparison.
Our plans have been to continue to inject youth into the team where possible, not blatantly cheat the salary cap costing us draft picks and also to continue murdering Essendon every time we play them. Can't wait for round one bitch.

Have to love all the opposition fans hoping and praying both Selwood and Ablett leave Geelong too, as they obviously feel that's the only way their side can get close to us.

The only difference is Carton dropped positions after finals so they actually finished third. We on the other hand went up and finished first

Write it down, this is going to happen! After Ablett and the Wood Seller **** off to the Gold Coast (the money hungry pricks) the arse will fall out of the team, nothing surer.
And with the selection of rusty aggots Ling as captain, they will end up with a Richard Vandenberg situation ie worst captain in the AFL. Coupled with an ageing list, no planning for the future and an apathetic coach, this club is destined for the gurgler!
Write it down, this is going to happen! Richmond is going to sink to the bottom of the AFL pool in 2010 once again, and throughout their demise they will employ phrases like "it's important to get game time into young legs..." and "the boys are showing real signs of turning it around, and with another pre-season..." and other such excuses.
Meanwhile, their stupider fans (read the_interloper and a few others) will get onto BF and start planning the demise of a club that has played in 3 straight GFs and won 2, in turn making them one of the best teams of at least the last 20 years, if not longer. And they will say it with such conviction using phrases like- "Write it down, this is going to happen!" that they may even delude a few not-so-bright individuals into believing it, simply because it's written in bold and has an exclamation mark (authority).
But for the rest of us (those not so easily led, as asses are, to paraphrase old Bill Shakespeare) we will simply roll around laughing our collective asses off at another Richmond flog, and scream "FAIL!".
