Emotional toll, wheelchair fatigue, MCG cement allergy, couldn't move today....but so worth it and grateful.
A couple of replays in, despite seven's stupid bastard replay clock and shite calls. Missed the fox game day panel, and their reluctant praise. No spectacular Robbie either, not sure it's available, maybe you tube somewhere.

Unbelievable how luck can turn, the ball bounce and the breaks, the taps, the rolls, the spills, our marks from an errant kick- in fact everything that went wrong for us against the Pies. The GF turned that around in spades, next time you watch, check it out.
Our luck was simply golden......BUT it didn't come free.
Paul Newman, old departed movie star, had a tattoo on his arm that read - Luck is an Art.
All our artistry like focus, tackling, speed and playing in front, intent and attack on the ball, pinpoint passes, came together to produce and take advantage of the luck. Bloody brilliant to see on replay.

I was thinking the same, bounces went our way but we made our own luck as well... Hawkins snapping two goals out of the ruck to get the ball rolling etc I struggled to find a single Sydney player that had any impact.

I imagine( hope) the DVD will have alternate commentary but in ‘09 I got links off here to like 4 hrs of each radio station’s grand final day! Was awesome! Perfect listening for long drives. I’d just go out for a drive anywhere just to listen to them!

There's a certain torrent site that has them. Otherwise the lace out YouTube channel has 4 radio calls of highlights which is a good watch.

Holmes just wasn't super prepared for a post-GF-win Brownless. Most players knew to expect everything coming out of his mouth to be stupid drunken ramblings and played along with it. Max is still pretty new to this caper, so I think he was caught off-guard by it. Making jokes at Max probably the wrong choice in the immediate aftermath of what was probably one of the hardest moments of the kid's life.

Got to take my 9 year old (massive Selwood/Cameron Fan) to the GF too see our Cats bring the flag home.

When Joel kicked that Goal think I just sat there crying no words can describe the impact that man has had on our footy club.

Yesterday i squared my ledger of attended GFs at 4-4. Another reason to celebrate!

I’ve attended 4 Grand Finals.
07, 09, 11 and 22.
Missed out on tickets for 08 and obviously couldn’t go in 2020.
Im very lucky to attend 4 for 4 wins.
