I'd love to have a crack at Kelly in 2 years time, Geelong will be very tight for money to keep 5 A grade midfielders together.

Ablett and maybe even Selwood won’t be around then

Selwood would be 32 and I can still see Ablett playing for 3 years at least.
You can see Ablett playing until he's 37, with an already busted shoulder. Really?

Its round 2, let's re-assess how durable the selfish little shit looks the end of the year before we make outlandish statements. ;)

Well I'm hoping.... not for Ablett to be still play hate the prick but for us to land Kelly. :D

While watching live, and on the replay they showed, it looked like that goal (think it brought the cats within 6) was actually on the right side of the goal post.
I can't believe they didn't even review, but is there definitive footage showing it was a goal?

Geelong the past two weeks felt like Hawthorn 2016 for mine, even though they didn't scrape the win. They have a team that is struggling around a core of champions, which is just barely hiding the otherwise obvious deficiencies. They're conceding too many inside 50s, and game plan with star factor is keeping them in it. If they lose one or two of Selwood, Dangerfield and Ablett this year it will show even more.

I found Selwood trying to negotiate a 50m penalty on the quarter time siren just as infuriating.

Yep using a captains privilege to talk umpires during breaks about a decision that would have earned him a personal gain.
Now who would have thought?

Thought exactly the same thing !!!!

Difference being, they have a circus clown for a coach and leaders that are all about themselves.

Got the Hawthorn Flag flying proudly today to annoy my neighbours that are Geelong supporters.:thumbsu:

I don't see it. The end comes quickly for those in the 33-35 bracket. He has long term injury concerns in the past also - I don't see him playing past 2019.

The first replay silenced the commentary box.

The only comment they then offered was "good of the umpire to make the decision, he was in the best position, blah blah, don't need a replay for that - it wouldn't tell us anything anyway"

Goal umpire was in perfect position, so he felt he didn't need to review it personally.

They automatically review goals anyway and the camera angles weren't good enough to categorically say the umpire got it wrong. No problem with that one.

Can even see the body language of our players, that they didn't doubt that it went through.

Danger gets knocked out! Free kick to him and he bounces up like a sleeping fox.
Hawks dominating and haz starts to limp, geelol get closer, gaz limp gone. Hawks kick away again limping gaz returns but geelol get within winning the game gaz limp free again.
Selwood duck drop shrug whine complain. Never will they be premiers again with the likes of these 3, never.
