Given how superstitious football players often are, if Richmond beat the Dogs next week I wonder how their players will feel about taking the longest MCG winning streak in history into the finals? Would be the stuff of legend if they maintain it all the way up to the GF then lose.

Well. In 2008 Geelong were on something like 17 wins in a row come GF day. At the time I thought they were due for a loss soon than later....the rest is history

I wouldn’t cheer injuries because I feel for the individual player having to deal with the hardship, but it pisses me off everyone else seems to have injuries to key players all throughout the year and they’ve seemingly bribed the injury gods and just don’t have to deal with it

That song is the devil. Mate of mine went to a Braithwaite concert with his wife a few years back. Told me he played horses early in the set all the mid 30’s and upwards divorced/separated lady’s went off, played various other tunes in the middle that got very little reaction and then closed the show by playing horses again to which those same lady’s once again went crazy.

The law of averages is a fantastic leveler. Eventually, winning runs have to end - like baggers beating us last year. Tigers are getting closer to a loss at the G. Oh, and as Bruce told us on numerous occasions last night every year the tigers have finished on top they have won the flag. Since over 50% of those were 50+ years ago, I can't see how that stat has aything to do with their chances this year.

I thought that Bruce had his jumped a shark moment quite a few years ago when he had a one in one interview with McLeod from the crows, it went something along the lines of.

That also means cats a lock to play finals. I like my version better of port win this week and next week, swans and pies lose this week but win next week and dees only win 1 more game for the year (prefer this week for my multi)and we win tonight and cats miss finals with us pretty much guaranteed 4th
