If we finish 2nd or 3rd and still play Collingwood it doesn't matter.

B) west coast are not safe. Massive loss for them today. Injuries causing pain.

C) we can beat Sydney. The saints game will give many a sense that we are making up the numbers. It will be a mistake. Sydney have beaten teams with massive injuries before and during the game. Oh and they beat Melbourne who finally stood up today against a depleted west coast.

Most would see getting new clubs as the long term approach, and railroading two clubs out of melbourne as short sighted, but each to his own
