Amazing how far coaching has come through, Collingwood obviously had the way to break richmonds gameplan and held back untill it mattered

Maybe, but Collingwood's first half tonight was as good as I've seen any side play since our 3peat years. They absolutely destroyed a team who finished 2 games clear on top who were on a 22 game MCG winning streak, I don't really see the sense in playing that down.
Richmond had everything going for it. Most games at their home ground, biggest club, good run with injuries, pretty decent draw, well balanced side across the park etc etc.
More proof that the 2013-15 team stands as the greatest ever. But I’m biased!

Anytime anyone mentions 12 i feel the need to point out the AFL injustices of the 2 day turnaround we were robbed of. Our prelim changed from fri to sat and swans from sat to fri and hte last 10 minutes cost us, they wouldnt dare to that to the tigers even to the detriment of the 3 other teams involved, complete bs.That was us in 2012 just quietly...

Bloody media are so shortsighted these days.
Channel 7 seem to treat their footy coverage like they do their reality TV shows. The like to build a narrative around each game and try to push it during the game.

I can be a classic arrogant Hawks supporter - but usually when provoked and I shit-stir back. Tigers supporters took it to another level this year. Have never seen such unjustified, untamed arrogance from a bunch of supporters.

I can’t agree. Our season was 13 and we delivered.
In 12 we couldn’t beat geelong, started poorly, and didn’t show much in finals. Stratton tackle saved us.
Richmond were having our 13 season, following a lucky 2017. The tigers never faced true adversity or a heart breaking loss. They thought it was easy and it would just happen. Massive reality check for them.
Massive respect for us tonight.
Such a great feeling to see Richmond crumble.
